Lol.. I made a bit of a joke bet with a friend.

I said that he was definitely going to rehab and that this trip was organized months before the most recent incident.

My friend on the other hand said he had "inside information" that Ben was not going to go to Rehab and was only going to the USA to get out of the media spotlight.

This does not look good for me

I hope he's ok.. and gets his ass straight to rehab.

how do you define an addict though? I think someone who almost loses their huge paying career over their drug use, goes to rehab, comes back, then continues to take drugs/do whatever, gets sacked from their job and runs away from rehab is addicted to something! maybe not the drugs but his addiction to being a 'party boy' seems to be just as destructive!

I don't believe many BigFooty users would have the experience of being a meth addict while also playing professional sport.

I doubt you have either.

But someone who had used meth would have a fair idea of what you are capable to do on it, which is what a junkie would be, pretty much all the time, it is what they do. It would make it hard to train and play professionally, particularly to Cuz's level.

So.. if he is on Meth he is either smoking it or wackin it.. and i agree you can take party drugs without becoming addicted.. you find that people actually become addicted to the instrument ie, the cr*ck pipe or the needle.

i think he was fine (in regards to being an addict) while he was playing/training in 06 and i also think he was clean when he returned in 07

agreed, oral use of a drug like that is about 20% as effective, most is broken down in the stomach before reaching the bloodstream.

There is nothing substantive in the article to suggest that he hasn't checked in - or that his treatment hasn't commenced elsewhere.

Maybe he's started treatment at a separate facility to avoid the media scrum. Maybe he wants to check in whenever he wants. That's up to him - he's not serving a prison sentence.

But the journos have to somehow turn that into a story - which is what this article represents.

Cousins arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday morning and was picked up at the airport by two mystery blonde women in a sports car.

That always seemed a bit 'sus' to me that he was picked up by two blonde women in a sports car... perhaps he has decided to do some of the popular tourist attractions?

Disney World, Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk? Santa Monica Pier? I would perhaps start with some of those places before reporting him missing. Will be very interesting though if he does happen to 'disappear' then perhaps his face might end up on the side of milk cartons!

It is a little silly, nobody knows where he is, he might of done a sneaky and sold us some candy by going to a diff rehab, or anything, But it does make him look suss, Im waiting for all the funny pics of where benny is MIA.

AFLPA has come out and said they would support Cousins playing for another club, this is going to get interesting.
