I'm a big fan of the bloke. Can bat as well which is handy.

Real shame he's a Queenslander because he probably won't be given a chance for some time.

gun bowler. topped shield wicket taking (or very close to) a couple of years back then got injured.

got a nice high action.

definately on the radar. our fast bowling stocks are in fine hands - cummins, pattinson, hazlewood, coulter nile, duffield, cutting, richardson, starc and faulkner are all fine prospects. pretty sure there is a couple of others in there.

Didn't bowl that well today, better suited to the longer form IMO.

Yep, lets not get too ahead of ourselves. Done more than Cummins though, I would keep him away from T20 and even one dayers, bowls an awkward length in the longer form, but in one dayers it's not a very effective length to bowl.

Just about everyone has done better than Cummins, he wasn't picked on the basis of anything he's done.

Ben's made a real nice comeback following injury.

Took 7 wickets for the match on return, and in the match just finished, made 136 runs without being dismissed, and took 3/73.

:thumbsu: Would love to see him tour the Windies, he deserves it.

he's a very good bowler. aside from pattinson he's got my favourite action of any quick bowleri in the australian scene. i love a nice high bouncy action.

From stats guru Ric Finlay, Cutting is the first player in FC cricket to top score batting at #9 in both innings.

Only number 11 has failed to achieve this stat now.
