Havent heard much about Ruttens contract. Its been a non issue here. Its considered almost routine that he will resign, as there are no stories circulating about his being disgruntled or holding out on contracts. Maybe they wanted to see who they were delisting/trading for, to see exactly how much they could give him.

Cash gets freed up as time goes on. Mclaren left this year and he would've been on a surprising amount. Ackland contract expires at the end of next year and will be delisted along with likely Wiggins, Saddington and Jordan Bannister will will free up cash.

Its the same at most clubs. I know for certain theres big room freed up in the Adelaide cap with Roo gone. I doubt itd be a big money offer that got him to leave. Really, i dont see any reason at all hed want to leave our club. I wouldnt get too excited over this one if i were you fellas.

I infact did read that post but don't believe your treasurer is on here telling all on big footy what your player's are getting ,so he know's jack shit about real dollar term's.

I was just fishing to see whether or not you blokes have got over being caught paying bloke's under the table to win a premiership, no doubt Pratt is doing the same but then again he has been caught as well hasn't he ,wonder how much he will tip in next year after he get's what's coming to him.

It's a dream alright, but a very good dream at that. Maybe this is who Swann has his eyes on in the PSD. Get on board Rutten, you have more chance of playing finals at Carlton and you will get an awesome job at VISY.

One player isn't going to bring you to the finals RACE, you may get 7th or 8th but thats it, you dont have a ruck, dont say matty k either because he wont be ready, you dont have a big back, your soft bodies at the contests, although in 3 years you SHOULD be a very very good team

I don't recall saying we would win the flag in 2008. 15th to finals contention is a big enough step for me.

Check out what's going on in your back yard mate. The best player in the competition just came to our club and preferred Melbourne as a destination over Richmond. That's just sad.

Judd wnated to go to Carlton because Pratt will help him set up his life after Football, with business interests...Anyone who thinks Judd is interested in a GF at carlton is kidding themselves. Pure and simple it was business decision. Look at the clubs he wa considering. Collingwood Carlton and Melbourne the four big corporate backed clubs in Melbourne. All have ties in business world.

If Carlton happen to win a flag with him it will be a bonus in his mind.
