The Christopher Reeve one is easy to explain. George Reeves played Superman on TV. A simply made mix-up. I've never heard Sally Field referred to as Sally Fields.
But I absolutely, always thought it was John Merrick!

As for the dilemma over dilemna, all I can say is that you guys must have have some crap teachers. The word means double (di) proposition (lemma), neither of which is particularly good. Where would anyone get the "lemna" component?

There actually is a bit of a Mandela Effect with the Minogue sisters, in that people often say that both girls were part of the Young Talent time team back in the late 1980. When corrected on this they swear that they remember Kylie being a team member, when in fact it was only younger sister Danni. However, this can be fairly easily explained as follows:
1. Kylie and Danni Minogue famously performed 'Sisters are Doing It For Themselves' on YTT, however this was a one off.
2. With both YTT and Neighbours Channel 10 shows, cast members from the soap would make guest appearances on YTT in the late 1980s, including of course Kylie Minogue. Some YTT cast members also had roles on Neighbours later on.
3. Another girl who was part of the YTT team in the mid-late 1980s was Natalie Miller, and she had hair of a similar colour and style to Kylie, plus she would often team with Danni in performances. As the years passed and Natalie faded from people's memories, they may have remembered this wrong.

Another statue of liberty little known fact that many claim to be a mandela effect as well.... In 1916 Germany attacked the Statue of Liberty act of terrorism....

Theres more to that too....the bomb blast apparently forever damaged the ladder up to the torch, making it off limits since, but many people apparently remember climbing it in the last 50 years.

Alright, so this is gonna sound pretty crazy... But I saw in a thread, that apparently if you put in certain specific coordinates on Google Maps, it'll appear that the Statue of Liberty has just... Disappeared from Liberty Island. I'm not sure what the coordinates are... These images might be photoshopped, but if any of you guys could try to figure it out, that would be great, because if these images turn out to not be photoshopped... This is BIG.

So The Mandela Effect Is: In the Movie Crocodile Dundee, when Mick pulls out a knife while he and Sue are getting robbed does he say “That’s Not a Knife – THIS is a Knife” or “That’s Not a Knife – THAT’S a Knife”?
The movie Crocodile Dundee is a personal favorite of mine. I would say it ranks in my top 40 and I have to say, without exaggeration, that I have watched this movie at least 45 times….if not more.
It’s one of those movies I am unable to turn off whenever I come across it, even if it is on regular television, commercials and all, which is really saying something.
Therefore I am absolutely stunned that one of my favorite scenes/lines in the movie has now changed. When Dundee and Sue are getting robbed at knife point by a couple of young thugs in New York, Dundee pulls out his dagger and says “That’s not a knife, THIS is a knife!”
Well that has now changed to “That’s not a knife, THAT’S a Knife!”
This is another Mandela Effect I would’ve bet money on. I’m sorry…. it just doesn’t sound right to me the “new” way. When bringing this effect up to others more than one person told me this was a common mistake made by many for years, which I will admit, does then have me second guessing myself and my own memory. But when all is said and done, I’m still sticking to my story.
