Type O Negative wrecked a few songs, in a great way:

Summer Breeze (Seals and Crofts)
Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young)
Black Sabbath (from the satanic perspective)
Hey Joe (Hendrix cover, changed to 'Hey Pete', and details the lead singer, Peter Steele, settling a score with an ex girlfriend).

I'd go with Summer Breeze though - such an odd song for them to do.

Nah. I rather the TON version of the song. Although I cannot say much about the other covers they did.

Without going into the meaning of the song and blah, blah, blah. It is a very good cover of the song. I remember a few years back seeing them live and one of the band had a midnight oil shirt on.
