Sorry Brett, Yeah they were the 92 Saints that made it to the Grand Final, my childhood heroes from when I was 9/10 years old. Except I think Mick Beattie played in the centres instead of Graeme Bradley in 92.

Anyway this is my real list.

1) Darren Lockyer
2) Mat Rogers
3) Mal Meninga
4) Laurie Daley (Had to put him in the Centres cos I think Lewis was a better 5/8)
5) Wendall Sailor
6) Wally Lewis
7) Andrew Johns
8) Shane Webke
9) Steve Walters
10) Paul Harragon
11) Scott Gourley
12) Bob Lindner
13) Brad Mackay

1. Ken Thornett
2. Neville Glover
3. Michael Cronin
4. Steve Ella
5. Eric Grothe
6. Brett Kenny
7. Peter Sterling
8. Bob O'Reilly
9. Steve Edge
10. Geoff Bugden
11. Peter Wynn
12. Ron Hilditch
13 Ray Price

Some people who know a bit about the history of the game, may note a slight leaning towards Parramatta.

Well Australian players are all I've seen on a regular basis.

And Bobby Lindner player lock for club and second row in State of Origin and plus I wanted Mackay in at lock. Mackay was gonna be in the team no matter how good other players were, simply cos he's my all time favourite player.

1: Garry Jack
2: Darren Lockyer (yes, he plays fullback, but my favourite all time player was Gary Jack and Lockyer is damn good, so I'll put him on the wing)
3: Mal Meninga
4: Laurie Daley
5: Willey Carne
6: Wally Lewis
7: Andrew Johns
8: Glen Lazuras
9: Kerrod Walters
10: Shane Webke
11: Bob Linder
12: Trevor Gillmister
13: Brad Fitler

Moffo

And all Legends.

Most of those guys played in the 1982-83 Premiership teams. I rate Parramatta of that era as greatest club side I've ever seen.

Hey Brett you're fighting a losing battle here if you were hoping for anything more than a token Englishman in these sides (& you're lucky if you get even that:D )

Who is your uncle?

My uncle was Arthur H Daniels. Played for Halifax 1945-57 then played his last season with Bradford Northern. Originally came from a small village near Llanelli. He had a try disallowed in the 1954 CCF replay against Warrington, the famous match which probably pulled in excess of 120,000.

Now you are showing your ignorance of TGG. Prior to 1970 GREAT BRITAIN (Not England, the 1946 tourists included about 19 Welshmen) were the dominant RL power.

Billy Boston would have strolled into any side. As would Neil Fox, Jonty Parkin, Jim Sullivan and Billy Batten.

I saw them all!
;)

I'd personally put Gary Belcher at fullback. Hard to go past the Raiders team of 89/91 with 3 straight Grand-final appearences with the likes of Belcher, Clyde, Meninga, Daley, Jackson, Lazo, Chikka Ferguson etc.

Ken Thornett didnt play in the 81, 82, 83 eels sides. Still a legend though..

1. Garry Jack
2. Eric Grothe
3. Brett Kenny
4. Brad Fittler
5. John Ferguson
6. Wally Lewis
7. Tommy Raudonikis
8. Ian Roberts
9. George Peponis
10. Steve Roach
11. Mark Graham
12. Brad Clyde
13. Ray Price

I had to get a Bear(Graham) and a Jet(Raudonikis) in there out of deference to my two former teams who have both sadly passed away.:( But I think they both have valid claim for selection anyway.
