Just wanted to know who people rated as the best First Players going around this year. Maybe we could come up with a dream team for the 2006 season. (please say what position that they play)

Having viewed many rostrevor games this year i would say:

Nick Murphy (RC) half forward
Adrian Bond (RC) rover

also some other players include:

Xavier Watson (PAC) centre
Brad Ebert (STMC) half back

Nick Ramsey SHC (Wing) (STAR!!)
Xavier Watson PAC (Center) (Gun!!)
Lachlan Button SHC (FF, Ruck) (Brillant)

Best three with out a doubt and thats with out haven Millar From Saint Peters or Fosdike for SHC

John O'Conner is wuld not make the top 5

Hartlett is the most amazing kid ever! CHF goes to Schulz or Day. Id say Murphy would be more of a benchwarmer of this team. Henry White, Dean Christie and Seb Paynter also deserve a mention for midfield/half back or bench. Mcnamara will probly get CHB by default as there arent too many other great ones this year i can think of. And if Van Hoof usually plays like he did in intercol he can have full back all to himself

button, millar, ebert, hartlett, schulz, holmes all played state. wouldnt that make them better than anyone else. unless some schools have hidden gems!!

I'll be the first to have a crack at naming a line up: Feedback would be much appreciated, from the backline:

McNamara (SHC) Ebert (STMC) Fairclough (STMC)
Botton (STS) May (PAC) Starke (PEM)
Ramsey (SHC) Millar (ROS/STS) Hartlett (SHC)
Murphy (ROS) Day (SHC) Schultz (STS)
Bond (ROS) Smith (PAC) Holmes (PAC)
1st RUCK: Button (SHC) Christie (STS) Watson (PAC)
INT: White (STS), O'Connor (ROS), Paynter (PAC), O'Grady (SHC)
Possible emergencies: Christie (PEM), Sheridan (ROS), Van Hoof (PAC), Gallman (SIC), Fosdike(s) (SHC)..........I know I've forgotten some!

The best foootballer in the state maybe even the country has yet to play 1st 18 SHC has kept him a secret but he will be unleashed on the comp next year his name is ADAM WILSON the strongest hands and defiantly the strongest body i have ever seen played with or agaisnt MY GOD he's good a natural superstar with a **** load of untapped potnetial

Put Sammy Fairclough in the guts because he is THE best midfielder in school footy. He's only in year 11 and is playing league. He got 25 touches in league 2 weeks ago as well. Will destroy anyone in the league 1 on 1 and has silky skills.

Best midfeilder in school footy thats a big call. their are alot of midfeilders out their which im sure yuo wouldnt see play week in week out. and its more than likely you havent seen every school team in the states midfeild line up at full strength ok he's playing league does that mean last year Bryce Gibbs was the best palyer at his postion in the school comp. Dont get me wrong freak player but that is a very big call to make you would want to have more than stats from one game to back that up

WHat about young Blesing from Westminster for CHB or FB played under 16 state with Macnamara an both had great carnivals

Fairclough is a hack. Most players can look good in the best league team giong around. If he's the best midfielder in school footy, why wasn't he in the state 18s? So many other college players would be drafted before him
