Bye far.......Best last quarter we have played in the 40 years i have been watching.

How could that be?
The opposition that was prone to choking and they did. If we played to our ability then we would have pumped them in the last.

best last quarter i have heard unfortunately. Managed to trick my mum into taking me to my pops for a late afternoon visit, primarily because they have Foxtel and i dont. Oh, and also coz my grandparents are jst lovely.

But then, about half way through the third she tells me that we have to go home and cook dinner. Couldnt believe it, although i must say the commentary from SEN was a hell of a lot better than Gerard Healy. We were the ones getting the rough end of the pineapple, having to listen to that!

And i dont think its a good idea for me to be driving next time the Bulldogs are involved in a nailbiter. Few deviations on the road.

Tarrent marking 15 metres out and playing on with someone hot on his tail and missing was funny as well, as soon as he kept running you could see it happening.

Other then that last quater effort we should be looking back at this game. We played dreadful to what we are used too.

Good tough win but they didn't punish us when we where down. Against another higher team we would of been crushed..

I know they use the phrase "Good teams win ugly" But we would want to start looking pretty for the upcoming weeks.

I don't think you give enough credit for how well Freo played in the middle quarters. With the embarrassment of their previous loss motivating them, playing in front of a massive home crowd and i think fairly advantaged by the 50/50 decisions, i think they would have pressured any other side today. The fact is when they didn't know how to win, we found a way to do so. Now can you imagine that happening last year?

But I was at that Crows game, I think 6.7 to 0.2 in the last for a 1 pt win -we had total dominance last qtr.
Today Freo got early goals in the last and after that great Pav goal, I though that would be the final nail, I am happy thtat I was wrong.

A winning Finals last quarter is better than round win automatically.
However I don't remember many finals were we dominated the last quarter but I'm sure they felt better.

Hoss, I agree with you, I was at the game, Freo played better than us for a lot of the game, in the finish the difference was that we believed we could still win while Freo believed they could still lose. All the best for the rest of your season also, your teams not playing as bad as the position on the ladder would suggest.

Agreed, Pav, Peake and Farmer's celebrations were like Richo's against us when they thought they had it won. That bit him on the arse, unfortunately we ONLY got away with a draw that day.

1999, now THAT was the best last quarter I've ever seen.

Anyone rember the last quater against Geelong at kadina Park against the Wind??. Not sure what the margin turnaround was but that was awesome

Probably wouldn't go as far to say best quarter I've ever seen, but it's one of if not our best win this season. This is when you take into account the following:

~ the dockers were under the pump after squandering a 51 point lead against the dees.
~ they had Geelong on the ropes twice, but the Cats just got over the line.
~ hudson and minno contending with the man mountain (who has been in great form this year).
~ it was at subiaco where the dockers are at least a 4-5 goal better team.
~ previously being favourite in a game like this would inevitably end in a loss.
