Looks good. I couldn't bring myself to pay $250 for it but would not question the quality.

With Adelaide's retro I hate how the stripes go all the way up on the back which is wrong but love the yellow cuffs! It's been a while since a Crows player has worn long sleeves

I got mine during an online sale at the Swans store for $170 and even baulked at that price, but then used some birthday money and forgot about it. I'll still be royally pissed off when I inevitably spill some tomato sauce on it.

Nah, it's not really a footy jumper until you stain it. I saw a guy an hour before the bounce on Saturday, wearing a brand new Saints indigenous jumper with half a four'n'twenty down the front.

I always wondered if you were the real MC Bad Genius..

Me too. That's grouse. EDIT: I actually did know, because I posted on his profile 5 years ago it would seem.

I bought a long sleeve for the footy team I play for, sleeves are just plain black not hooped, unfortunately. Can't wait to don it though.

See you guys next weekend then! ; )

Agreed – all good footy jumpers have been through rain, pies, beers, whatever else in between the wins and losses. That's why the idea of multiple jumpers sits weird with me... I want to say I've seen it all in the one jumper!

Sadly this is correct. :(:'(
They messed up our long sleeve guernsey also, no yellow collar!

That's spiffy. I think a real good argument for uniform collars and cuffs on the Adelaide jumpers.
For me, I just think it looks like a clash jumper. Uniform collars and bodies are what you see in the trendy jumper reversals: Hawthorn, North, Sydney, Pies now. It just lacks character, and once the choice is made, the peril of the incredibly lazy manufacturers in the AFL means it won't go for years (see the calls for St Kilda to get white collars back).

Once something 'small' like this is brought in, it takes some pestering to get it right. The next manufacturer sees no issue with it, doesn't want to create more hassle for itself, and just assumes it's the way it's always been: North's boxes a great example, and the Crows own colour squares another.

Yeah, ok, but in isolation I think the Crows jumper looks better with navy collars and cuffs. Maybe marketing @ Adelaide could turn it into a thing if they change it then change it back after 10 years like they did when they "returned the full hoops" despite it being entirely down to their laziness that full hoops weren't on the jumper in the first place.

I'm thinking that the Saints might be trying to replicate the hawks with a few kits they can change between every 10-15 years.

Once this list has gone as far as it will go and the Saints move on to the next shot at a premiership, then they'll head back to the white cuffs. So we might be looking at another 10 or so years until they return.

We won a premiership in black cuffs, if anything they're trying to replicate success.

Chris Dawes in the Melbourne longsleeve, rolled up. Shades of Yze, good to see.
Something about the rolled up sleeves screams cool. Longmuir kicking the winning goal against St Kilda years back also comes to mind.
