Anyway going out tomorrow night with a couple of mates. One of them doesn't go out often at all, however he doesn't mind getting his boogey going without a drink, so he should be at home in a club. Any solid DJs/venues/specials happening tomorrow night? Any hot-spots at present?

I'm checking out a new night down Circus which just started a few weeks ago, then see what happens from there.

Rats is doing a massive thing tomorrow night. 50 DJs playing not many big names though just Spacey Space, Orkestrated, Matt Watkins, T-Rek and Gambit and unless you're really into the Melbourne music scene you would struggle to know anyone else.
Of course the King Street double, Cloud/Jungle is always good. Little Birdy further up the road is pretty good aswell, very attractive females but you need to know a list to get in. Wah Wah is always pumping on Saturday night not sure how well the new Recovery sesson there is going but its probably packed plus they just added some new lights downstairs so it looks mint, if only Wah was a little bit bigger it would be the perfect venue. Haven't heard much of Anyway after its first two weeks, gone quiet I imagine.
Billboards, TFU, Levels, Survivor all decent options aswell. Probably missed some obvious ones.

EDIT: Also reckon the Gold Coast's club scene is 10 x better compared to here (from what I've experienced)? About right or been to wrong places?

Personally I would go either Wah or Survivor. I would lean towards Wah, very solid lineup from top to bottom.

Definitely wrong places, think it is fair to say Melbourne has the best club scene in Australia. Though I haven't been to many places in Sydney.
I was going to Survivor every week for a couple of months back in Jan-Feb.
Safe to say I completely fried myself after that and Warehouse weekly for a couple more.
Promised myself no more narcotics after waking up to myself at 11AM at Cloud where I had a mini meltdown watching the fiends having a cigarette in daylight with sunnies on.
I have a good time Boutique, only drinks and at home by 4 rather than 10.

Billboards just confirms it is the best venue in Melbourne going by Friday night. The fact they have decent djs there Saturday nights now makes it one of the best in town instead of one to stay away from.
Yeah I imagine it would be pretty good if you're 17.
