Out of Brown, Pav and Reiwoldt for mine.

Where in the OP does it state that captaincy ability has anything to do with it? No where.
Judd is having a fantastic year and is arguably back to his '06 form, so get off your high horse you arrogant twat.

Pavlich/Judd...Judd/Pavlich...hard to split at the moment. If I had to, I'd say Judd though.

Riewoldt when he's in full flight. Pavlich at the moment, even though he was quiet on the weekend.
Lets be honest, everyone knows it's Judd, and those who don't like Carlton were trying to find an alternative that wasn't too embarrassing. Judd is the best footballer in the comp by miles, and is in career best form. He's smashing packs, and the afterburner's are back. It's just great for football watching this once in a generation talent in full flight, and taking his game to new levels at the Blues. It's what footy's all about. Just sit back and enjoy it.

Based on this years form I'd have Pav first then Judd (only because he has played more games). If Roo wasn't injured and was continuing his early season form then he would also be right up there.

Craigy thinks Simon Goodwin is the best player in the league, so Goody. 
Riewoldt- Incredible influence on a game. Coincidence St Kilda can't score well without him there.
Brown- We all saw how good Brisbane were travelling pre injury concerns this year. Absolutely dominated games.
Judd- Looks to have more power in legs this year. Unstoppable and is a great inspiration to his team. Hence their performances have been much better since he has been back.
Pavlich- We all know he is a great player, has all of the qualities the others do. Don't think his influence is as great as the others though ( says more about the others than Pavlich).
Rating them purely on games played this season ( and Brown pre injury concerns) that would be my order, although anyone could make a case for that order to be different.

Didn't realise Pavlich was so over rated. Great player for sure, but 28 people so far think he's better than Judd, Brown or Riewoldt. No chance.

His consistency and versatility give him the edge imo
