Well I'd rather Rondo's ability to pass, defend, rebound and create turnovers over Parkers ability to score a few more points. That's just my opinion.

Interesting to see Amare come back today against Toronto. Real winnable game for the Knicks, then I think Melo is back for Sacramento tomorrow maybe. Will be watching closely to see how Amare and Melo come back into the fold and how Lin plays off them. Could easily beat Toronto and Sacramento for 7 straight. Loving this Lin story.
I think Amare will love Lin at the point. He has worked with Nash before and Lin is like Nash-Lite. Should run the PnR real well with Amare. Melo is a different animal. He needs the ball in his hands but the Knicks run better when the ball is in Lin's hands. Going to be interesting.
You'd take Nash over D-Will, Rose and Westbrook?1. Paul (Is putting on a clinic vs Denver right now, scored the Clippers' last 14 points)
2. Nash
3. Rose
You'd pick Rose 1st every time if you were starting a team but the question was who is the best (pure) point guard.
No that wasn't the question. The only thing D-Will has over Nash is age? Yeah your kidding. Nash was a better player in his prime but right now D-Will is a better scorer, ball handler, has a better post game and both are average defenders. Westbrook is fine as a player. There's no handbook to being point guard. Westbrook is bagged for no reason. He has been on fire lately as has Durant and some other Thunder players. Scoring 30 and dishing out 5 or 6 assists is exactly what he needs to do every night for OKC to win.As a pure point guard/distributor/creator? Absolutely.
Have already said you'd pick Rose 1st if you had em lined up against a wall. Only thing D-Will has over Nash is age. Westbrook? Not a chance, great player but he's not a point guard's a-hole.
Nobody takes Nash now over anyone. He is 38.
Dude still plays. This isnt "if you had to stick with one point guard for the next 10 years" Nash is playing at an elite level, He's not the best in the league, but he's damn closeNobody takes Nash now over anyone. He is 38.

You've got a really old opinion about point guards. It's 2012 point guards don't have to be pass first creators anymore. So what if Nash can pass better than D-Will. Doesn't mean he's better. D-Will is a great passer and pretty level at ball handling? You have to be kidding. Where's the point guard handbook saying what a point guard has to do. There isn't one. Also the thread title is the best point guard. Not the best pure point guard or passer.Read the thread title, I think you'll find that it is.
Hmm yeah OK, I'll give you D-Will as a better scorer and post player. Ball handling? Maybe, I'd say pretty level, Nash is no slouch. But no-one distributes better than Nash, which is a PGs main task. Comfortably better than D-Will as a facilitator and creator.
Yep, have already stated Westbrook is a great player, more than fine. I agree with everything you've posted. Does't make him a PG though, he's a SG playing at point.
Perfectly sane, Him and Rubio are absolutly fantastic to watch when some of the plays/passes get pulled offI know this means nothing, but if I had to pick one PG to watch, I'm picking Nash every time.
I love watching Nash control the floor.
I'd argue that Chris Paul has been the best point guard in the league this season.A ridiculous triple double from Rondo.
Rose is still the best though, he again was clutch against Philly down the stretch to make sure Chicago keep rolling.
