10am at Miami Park, then to house just off Hedges, then Broady, then back, then sleep at the surf club.

all the blokes from yesterday were going summadayze down at the spit today. did ya see paris?

worked from 2pm-10pm, then caught train home, driver stopped at Bell station then decided not to open the doors  got off at Preston and walked an extra 20 mins to get home... watched the end of the full monty flicked it over to the fireworks then drifted off to bed... my NYE have been woeful the last few years and have included such highlights as a la prem movie at Chadstone, spending NYE with my parents, spending NYE at a friends place whom I dont like that much (I snuck off from that party at 11pm after spending much of the party hours talking on the phone to people I did like and getting oral sex in the kitchen :D)

House party all the way. Preferably closer to a beach or park. Went to opne this year and can't remember much.

City is good but you've gotta pay for massive prices on grog, food and cabbies are bull shit to find.

Me and my mate had an idea to just get a car and have a base price of $50. No more or less but we wouldn't drive any further then say 5km? People would be so pissed about waiting for cabs they'd pay whatever they could to get around.

Music festivals like Pyramid Rock or Falls are a brilliant way to bring in the new. Was at Pyramid with 15 mates, i had a ball.

Good company is the most important.

i stayed home on new years. best one i've had in ages. although i worked 07/08 new years and made a small fortune in tips and money people left on the ground... unfortunately this year i lost the phone number of the guy i worked with and only got it back 2 days before NYE and all the work he had was taken....

if i was to go out it would be to a house party. definetaly wouldn't go into the city. way too many people, too many fights, drinks too expensive, cover charges and no way of getting around easily...

a guy i played cricket with said on millenium new years he hired a 14-seater bus and just drove along the eastern beaches of sydney (i'd say it was about a half hour journey each way) stopping at about 5 different spots charging people $10 a ride, said he made over a grand profit for the night.
