If it were up to me, I'd say they shouldn't be allowed to put their name down for a league for the next season. If they want to join they can wait for when the leagues have been set and if there are any free spots then they can join them but otherwise tough luck

Besides those no-showers are probably the blokes who stop playing SC after a few rounds any way

Its painful for sure but there can be many reasons they haven't taken up the offer of the div place.
Hard to go down that track even though it appeals to me right now as we need to be as inclusive as we can.
