Cleary and then Green are good gets there IMO. It's a relief to me really.. with P13 and P17 my wishlist would've been Cleary and Green.. so for them both to be gone before P17 (just) means I have no regrets on the trade

Someone said earlier that if you wanted a pure mid you needed to start trading for picks for next year's draft... now you need to start trading for picks for next year's draft with Cleary off the board.

I had some pretty good offers for those picks but they were in such a sweet spot in this draft (maybe, possibly, we’ll see anyway). I feel like Dodoro at the moment. Hope My team is not in for the same 7000 day drought!!!

My memory is that you can trade a player for a live pick.. pretty sure that was how Rockford got Jake Stringer?

Nope.

Live pick trading is only live picks and future picks. I remember Zim wanting to trade players in the past and getting shut down.

That is correct, and how I've advised coaches to do it in the past. Have them draft the player you want, and then trade the players once the draft has ended.

Looking back you got slaughtered in that trade. A big reason as to why Jordie_tackles is where he is. So much for rocky only offers one sided trades
