You are glossing over the opportunity to take one of only like 4 mids in the entire draft. 2 of which will likely go pick 2 and 3. I dunno if the Wombats could fit any more forwards in and risk missing out on one of the two elite accumulators in this draft pool.

TBH i dont even know why i bothered with the picks i should've just given him Flynn, one dees fan to another. While i know ur just trolling, i will say that i had my block up half a week and no one bit on Flynn, but also i wanted to make sure i got the player i wanted at 3 and at 4 i couldnt guarantee that. What use do i have for a 26 yr old ruck when i have 4 other rucks and im eternally 4 yrs away lol. I think the trade is fair value and if someone wants to offer a first rounder for him prob a good chance WGS might consider it lol. But its as WGS says, i made the move to guarantee myself Harley Reid who will def be available at 3, if not him then ill prob just forfeit the pick Either that or draft whoever is BPA.

I gotta cut a couple players but was hoping to trade them so if theres anyone on my block someone might be interested in for a future pick or a pick upgrade or something HMU. My picks are 3, 18 & 23. Otherwise, ill figure out which of my mediocre list cloggers gets booted out the door first.

Just need Drew23 to shoot through his list and flaps to send me his list and active his team.

Then it’s a bit of admin assigning lists in UF and setting a draft date. Unknown Caller Rockford let me know if you want a hand with the UF side of things. I haven’t done it before but happy to learn that if you boys want a chop out. It would be good to try one time and get an understanding if submitting lists on BF for the OP is useful or not (probably worth having if UF goes to AFL fantasy without warning).

What do we all think about SSP players this season? Last season they were good to draft if they were in UF at draft time otherwise they go to the FA pool to be signed after round 1.

Mid season draft we do waivers which works okay but should this be the year we do a mini draft so everyone gets a fair go as long as they have a waiver pick remaining. Thoughts welcome.

Think we got to get a move on this Unknown Caller while there is no rush in starting the draft, or needing a deadline that's really soon, there should be a date so everyone gets enough notice. Not do it all last minute then blokes are not on for a week and don't know the draft is starting

Unknown Caller clearly leads a very busy life which is very understandable but I think the admin should be with someone active and those 2 blokes do all the work anyways. All we really need an admin for is to set the league up and from time to time may need to implement something that had a majority vote.

I've only been in this league for a year, so I'm probably not too qualified to comment much, but I will say that the PRC league run by deeman87 is a much more positive experience due to Eric's efficiency and timeliness.

Agreed. Don't fully get why anyone would even want to run the league if u don't have the time. I couldn't devote time to it a couple yrs ago in PRC and I tried to hand the keys over to Bowski who ran things for a yr. I ended up taking back over because he didn't have time, but it isn't some glamorous position, it doesn't pay money or anything like that, theres literally no perks or benefits at all.

I just don't rly get why u want to stay in charge UC when you don't seem to have time for it. Like life is busy and fantasy doesn't come first and that's fine and we all understand that but I think whoever is commissioner needs to be active coz this happens every yr and the commissioner should be organising things not the league organising the commissioner.

So ye I'm with Zim on that. I say this having run the other league for 7+ yrs now and I know how hard it is to get organised at times when life is getting in the way for whatever reason. We all appreciate the work you've done over the yrs and setting up the league etc. But ultimately, for the health of the league which comes first, the commissioner must be active. In the end that is the bottom line for any successful league/business/group or whatever.

I’m happy to be more involved in whatever capacity. Apart from a trip overseas with limited internet over Easter I’m available to help out and setup the league OR support someone else.

Previously been to busy too do extra but I’ve found a better work life balance and being part of the Whatapps means if anything major happens I can count on Zim to notify us all in a timely and calm manner

Not so much fussed by what date. But a date needs to be set so everyone has ample time to prepare somewhat. Not set a random date in 2 weeks, which happens to be a week someone is inactive that we can't contact and then the draft starts with auto pick madness. Also you want the editing guys to not be rushed.

As far as my delistings go, I usually just do them on the site when I setup teams but I've lost Lycett, Teakle looks like he may not get a SSP spot and I'll be delisting Jaiden Hunter after he did his ACL.

Since u will be editing lists give us a delist and trade deadline. Then Wise Guy Sam can add those dates to the thread headline. Mainly for Drew23 and Unknown Caller to see easy and have no excuses that they wernt aware.

Draft begins in exactly 9 days...

6pm Melbourne time on Monday, the 19th of February.

We will need delistings finalised ahead of the previous weekend. So 6pm on the Friday the 16th of February will be our deadline for any additional list changes.

Teams should now be correct on UF. If you see that there's more players missing than you have delisted, it's because they're not on an AFL list.

Wise Guy Sam I think remove the ? And we set the dates rocky set in stone. Add both deadline and draft start in the heading.

I also propose during the draft if you time-out bad luck, you get who the auto pick is. If you're not bothering to set preranks and time-out on a 12 hour clock you then deserve the hack u get
