Looks like it. flaps Northern Dogs did either of you veto your own trade? As everyone as commish powers somebody might have accidentally hit veto or reject and one vote might be enough.

Now received email saying trade is vetoed by commissioner. Doesn't say which commissioner though, so may need to review settings.

No trade should ever be vetoed. Its for extreme type 1 sided trades. Sure one manager might get the better side of the trade but if consent is there on both sides the trade should go thru.

I certainly didn't veto it.

I'm not sure who did, but if anyone has an issue with it, they'd probably want to tell us why.

I can give the benefit of the doubt it being a mistake by someone, but I'd be pretty annoyed if that was intentional. It's more than fair for both us of for where our lists are at. And if it's a prank, it's just wasting people's time on the platform.

I never understood it, but it's one of those bunch of rules that have been there since before I started

Yes but regardless we can only use 5 in total with a combination of both.

I never understood it, but it's one of those bunch of rules that have been there since before I started

Real AFL team get to sign 0 free agents during the season (bar midseason draft which is newer)

And yes we are real. I claimed my UF entries in my tax return

Hehe, on the one hand it's to keep things more realistic. The other element is to make it a more difficult decision. What would happen otherwise is teams could just recycle whoever they didn't think was going to make it for whichever kid was named to play for his first game in a given round. Then there's no risk, can just swap back, swap to the next kid etc.. having some scarcity involved in that decision is important so it's not just a churn and burn exercise.
