Hehe, on the one hand it's to keep things more realistic. The other element is to make it a more difficult decision. What would happen otherwise is teams could just recycle whoever they didn't think was going to make it for whichever kid was named to play for his first game in a given round. Then there's no risk, can just swap back, swap to the next kid etc.. having some scarcity involved in that decision is important so it's not just a churn and burn exercise.

Heh certainly comes as a surprise to me I thought u had me at the end. Gg.

Lowkey would like another bottom 4 position as I hate getting stuck mid table and most of my bench doesn't seem to be developing. Need to do more with my picks.

Should we look into a slow transition in replacing the 3 disliked categories? Or adding some more? A slow transition. We could set a future date for a few years.

I always thought it should be a combined FF/FA score but have no idea what other replacement options would be.

But most seem to dislike the idea of rule changes as they have set up their teams

I've always hated FF/FA. A combined category makes way more sense to me.

I'm good with it.

Dunno about changing scoring though, I don't love frees and wouldn't use them if starting from scratch but the categories have been the same for a decade+ you can't change it coz what do you choose instead? Choosing new cats would improve some teams and make others worse so not rly fair that way.

I agree and saying you can’t coach for those cats is incorrect in my opinion.

i know what you mean and i dont want to add those cats we have the 9 cats in this league. Were using those cats in the premier league, i like the differences in the leagues...

I dont mind spoils, but contested are just variations on other categories. I reckon its better when they are more distinct stand alone stats (as hard as that is)
