It's not publicly accessible. It’s a money issue so I would say player ego. Every one who plays football these days thinks they’re worth money. Has the BFL got player clearances available online?

[QUOTE="ROOTA] Someone needs to step in and ban this stuff. They are kids for gods sake
Childcare for an hour whilst the parents nip to the shops for some last minute items?
But agree, primary school age shouldn’t even start pre-season until March

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years to you all.
Good post & welcome, ICS.
While all clubs lose players to district or metro clubs, having former employees raiding the club is pretty low character stuff IMO.
I agree that the disparity in caps is problematic & it doesn't make a whole heap of sense, not that I'm a fan of the salary cap anyway.
The Lions tend to do a great job of promoting from within so with a bit of luck, they'll be able to cover any losses without too much hassle.
Coaches are employed by a club, yes.The fact you’re calling them employees means that you accept that it’s business. In many businesses, a leader will leave and then others will follow that leader across to a new organisation for an uplift in salary / wages.
If it were an amateur game, the “doing it for the jumper, for your community etc.” would hold weight, but it’s not so it doesn’t.

Low character people seek to rip off people that have given them an opportunity.
Kudos for missing the entire point of community sport though.
People may well do it, obviously, it doesn't mean it'll win them any fans.
The salary cap is working a treat!
