What's the coaches name? Triplet, wow pathetic, Fevs half time speech was a blight on this league, never seen anything so amateurish ever.Had the absolute joy of watching a club melt down in front of my eyes. South you are a disgrace. The poor blokes that are putting money up to pay $100k over the cap must be embarrassed
Haha, you really bettered yourselvesSo what have you been worried about all summer. Just a club trying to better themselves. That's all
What an absolutely embarrassing performance. Houli...you are an elite nothing. Fev.....can't kick, can't coach, won't chase, and mouthing off to the umpires does you no favours. The assistant coach and sidekicks on the sideline.......absolutely no idea. A none existent pre-season is coming back to bite. If the coaches were performance paid, they'd get the lemon and sarse. I'd be asking questions if I was putting all that money up. The honeymoon is well and truly OVER.What's the coaches name? Only a club like South could spend so much and muck it up so bad. Haha
Watched the game today and went to Souths huddle at quarter time and sneaked in the south rooms at half time. It's easy to pot people but fevolas performance as a player and coach left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately he isn't up to this standard in the condition he's in. The way he berated teammates on the ground was unexceptable. At no stage did he say anything positive or constructive that would help that team today. The way he spoke to his assistant Triplett was a disgrace and if it was me I wouldn't be going back. I know the people at south had the best intentions to try and improve the club but I think today showed it isn't working. In my opinion I would pay fevola and Triplett out and see if someone like lynch ( who was by far there best player ) would take the job on. It's great to have the finances to try to make a club better, but you have to get the right people to your club. Good on south for trying but they should cut their losses now. Watching Scotland and listening to him at 3/4 time what a difference a good coach can make. I know they were well in front, but no ranting just constructive and positive direction. Darley are a big chance this year and Souths Commitee need to make some tough decisions. I know it's hard to admit you made a mistake, but own it and move on. You will get more respect cutting them loose and regrouping. Good luck.Seems a big reality check for South, what went wrong.. they still have far too many good players to be losing by 120 points. I guess the #lasttofirst is over and will now be lucky to play finals
Alabama, you've been talking it up all Summer. I've watched both of South's games and I saw the game Sunday.
Happy to have as much as you want if you are giving 10 goals in.
In fact, happy to bet even money against both those sides especially in the 2nd half of the year with Souths gel.
Imagine Fevola kicks at better than 30% in front of goals. Geez.
In all fairness they were coming from a hell of a long way back and to their credit they've had a crack with their recruits, the big question imo was always going to be whether they had recruited the right types of players to make up the difference with the rest of the comp.
Darley look to be traveling quite well atm, it'll be interesting to see whether another side can step up and challenge them, Marsh and the Lakers.

Agree, never rule out Redan. Sunbury have probably had the toughest draw so far, they will probably get enough wins overall though to get in.I reckon a few people are leaving out Redan in their calculations as challenges. They have an improved list plus have a better mix of Talls, meduims and smalls. And this before the big O come back. There is an obvious top 4 then probably Sunbury. Then anyone of the rest (bar probably sebas) could fight out for 6th with South and North (despite a few loses) being the obvious.
To me it looks like its easy to score against North. Only team who hasn't is Redan, but conditions weren't apparently great. They have a pretty good forward line but if you shut that down they don't seem to be able to stop flow other way. South looked like it was a shoot out and now doesn't seem to be a huge win.Agree, never rule out Redan. What is the situation with North? They had a good win against South then have been disappointing.
Think his clearance has been deniedJohn Kent on the move from Lancefield to Sth mid season following Ash Manning. Geez haven't you got enough blow ins. What happens when the big top comes down and the clowns move on. Maybe Kent can be the chosen one to get them from last to fifth.
At the game in a Sth polo looks like it's a done deal.Think his clearance has been denied

Probably means he's not playing next week for Lancefield.Doesn't mean his clearance has been approved.

Fev hasn't got out of first gear and Banner is as good if not better a forward as Kent.Does not make sense, the regular posters from out our way I am sure have heard the same things, why would Kent go to Melton south and why would Melton south recruit Kent, unless they need a back for fevola in the reserves in case he injured? or is fevola planning on a light second half season?
Does not matter if they sign Dangerfield and sellwood. Coaching is the worst I've seen everFev hasn't got out of first gear and Banner is as good if not better a forward as Kent.
