Sunbury would be kicking themselves after blowing that lead yesterday.

Darley were dissapointing on their home deck. Totally outplayed on the day.

No doubt Sunbury would be kicking themselves especially after the result Saturday. Were in control of the game and let it slip. Looked like they tried to save the game in the last rather than win it. Melton would be feeling good about them selves. Got two shots at being in GF after finishing 5th.

Sebas vs EP looked like a cracker, Sebastopol would be shattered, gave it there all and had two of their best 5 players out for half a game. EP just ground it out in the end.

What went wrong at Darley? Heard Stephenson really showed they lacked a ruckman. Do they go and get one for next season?
Redan would think they would be a good shot at advancing, with a couple of of key outs for Sebas.

Watched East v Sebas was a cracker of a game East only got hold of them in the last 10 minutes
Sunbury v Melton -momentum is a funny thing in football Melton were sensational in the last quarter whereas the leaders at Sunbury failed to stand up when it counted their captain looks cooked and their star midfield lack a defensive mindset

I think darley we’re thinking too far ahead and forgot they still had to get over Redan. The Lions were great on the day led by their experienced guys. Lack of a ruckman hurt the devils all year but more so last Saturday.
Melton the only team left from down this way. Despite being up and down all year they find themselves in the 2nd semi against East, same as last year.

Surely East don't go into this game without a Ruckman, against the tallest team in the comp, especially now Koderenko has played the last 2-games in the reserves or are they going in with a smaller running team to take advantage of the wet and windy conditions forecast?

Geelong did on Friday night (Thank you Chris Scott!) against the best ruckman in the business. That was smart!! I have always said that he walked into a and handed Premiership side by Bomber Thompson. Now the interesting question will be, will he play a ruckman this week against Nic Nat? Derrrr.

Melton v Sebas Saturday should be a cracker. Hopefully the weather is better than yesty. Wonder if the burra will get back any of Kiel, Keeble, Goodes or Powell.

Yeah Sebas prob seem to be in better form currently, but with some injury concerns. Kiel missed because of illness so should be back, Goodes should play and I'd expect 1 of Keeble and Powell to play.

Sebas prob go in favorites considering they knocked them off both times this year. Can they make it 3?

Congratulations to Heath Scotland on his new appointment!

Sebas into the Grand Final after 20 ordinary years. The shock of being told to move to the CHFL 2-years ago was the catalyst to awaken the sleeping giant. They’ve finally got they’re act together and are one game away from living out fairytale season. Can they take the premiership cup from East Point? Unfortunately for Sebas, I don’t think they can. East have gone to different level. Sebas will need Keeble and Goodes to come in next week, if they do, then it’s game on!

Keeble could of played yesterday but to much of a risk defiantly right to go for the granny and Goodes will be right to go!

Goodes one is interesting, he was the Sebas runner on Saturday but couldn't finish the job....had ice on his calf for the last quarter.

The Burras beat every side in the competition except for East Point and Sunbury this season. East Point 3-0 this year over Sebastopol.

Keeble will be playing his 3rd game in the last 77-days and Goodes his 3rd game in 63-days. You’d have to agree that’s high risk! Goodes is 35 and having calf problems, Keeble has only played 10-games this season with ongoing back and hamstring issues. Both could be match winners, but their best is well behind them, if Goodes blows a calf or Keeble a hamstring that’ll have huge consequences for Sebas. East have their own issues though, Thoolan was huge last week, in more ways than one, East need to nullify his influence, will Koderenko play?

Teams are in

As expected Goodes and Keeble in, along with Gercovich recalled. Dayne Furness, Brad Weightman and Jai Harvey the unlucky ones.

Mcdougall didn’t come up for east.
Interesting, both Koderenko & Jaykeb Lench emergencies and named in the reserves. East point going in without a specialist ruckman against one of the best in the Comp in Thoolen?

Curious to know if Keeble and Goodes were put through a fitness test as intense as that which McDougall was subjected to?
Re-injuring on Thursday or Saturday, I know what I'd prefer.

Difference with keeble and McDougall injury, extra week rest for keeble 28 days and McDougall doing a fitness test on 19 days and every hamstring tear is a minimum 21 days. If keeble played last week could of done his hamstring then.

I feel for Marshall Cain, been at sebas as long as anyone of the current players (along with Powell) over 10 years, through all the tough years. Has been a committee member also at the club.
