Recently travelled there and bonded with some awesome local boys running a beach bar on a beautiful little island. They adopted me as their brother, shared their food with me, shared their drugs with me, and let me camp for free with them in their berugas on the beach under the stars. One of the best travel experiences of my life.

You live life dangerously.

No police on this island, so not as hardcore as it sounds. And this place had the most relaxed attitude to drugs of anywhere I've ever been besides Amsterdam.

As a side note these boys all identified themselves as Muslims - yet the only rule I didn't see them break in my time there was eating pork. Makes me think if more Today Tonight watchers did a bit of travelling they'd understand your average 'Muslim' is about as fundamentalist as your average 'Christian'.

Oh and.. Thailand.
