You may as well delist Hams and Nicoski too... they've both retired now :/

Cool I delist them too. I knew it was coming just didnt know it was official. I will wait and see what Cross does before moving him on. With this many retiring I wish I finished last now lol

Cross will end up at another club I'd say. You've probably got the most retirees at the moment, but I think Angels might end up with more delistings in total. That said he's already brought in 5 young players with trades.

I will update the trades post tomorrow guys. Work has been flat out so im putting in a rare spell of overtime which means no late night update.

Cheers :thumbsu:

Figure it makes sense to post my trading block in here. These are guys that I've had enquiries over or are currently involved in negotiations really.
Shaun Atley
Campbell Heath
Mark Hutchings
Brandon Matera
Luke Parker
Nick Vlastuin
I've also had enquiries on Wingard and Hickey, but I'm not sure I'm ready to put either of them up for trade. Still always open to offers on any of my players really.

I'm staying on for next year, work blocked big footy so can't get on as much anymore!

Anyways I'll try to reply when I can moving houses over the next 3 weeks so will be busy.

Hey guys just got back from a month overseas - will be back involved in the coming weeks as I catch up on everything. Plenty of time to get things done!

Question: Am I allowed to change my mind? For example, can I delist Darren Jolly, and then change my mind and keep him if he gets picked up by another club. Is the purpose of submitting delistings here simply that we know how many draft spots people have?

If you are unsure, there is no need to delist until just before the draft, by which you will know Jolly's future.

Just dont delist him.

I was thinking thought that we should do 2 rounds of delistings so that fringe players can move around a little bit but ill get an idea about that from everyone.

Ill update the trades and what not tonight :)

Looking for a developing ruck, picks in the 8-25 range and a 20+ possession back? Can I tempt anyone into dealing?

Is this what you're after or are you asking if anyone wants these things?

We need to leave it how it is. If you want to move fringe players around you can trade or delist them, but to make it mandatory like last year is a step backwards- not to mention the issues of changing the parameters in such a big way after we have started trading.

If you want my thoughts in detail, have a look at the other thread when UC and I had our discussion on this very topic..

What I mean is like the AFL system -

List lodgement #1 - 2 players from your 2013 list are to be cut.

Trade Period

List lodgement #2 - List must be at 45 or less. Teams with 45 listed players wont take part in the draft and will have their picks passed over.

Draft Day.

Trade in as many players as you like in between though so people can carry a list of 50 guys leading up to the final list lodgement day. The only reason I bring it up is because I can see it going too far the other way where no-one gets delisted until we are getting ready for the draft and then people wont have any later picks to take a punt on those delisted guys, we'll have to wait for the game to open up and start burning our 5 in season delistings.

Maybe it's too late for this year because trades have started, but getting more towards the AFL model for off season list management is definately something we should look at I think for next year. It's not a massive change but it can shake the lists up a little more.
