Let me get this straight - I draft Campbell Brown/Nick Duigan with my last pick?

Only if you want to keep the rights to Saad. If you see someone you prefer then by all means, take them.

It is all subjective isn't it- there is a couple of players I rated top 35 available, and several others I had in my top 50 :) I might be involved in some early trades to pick up some FA selections before the season even starts!

I have no idea where these quotes are coming from!

There are still 2 guys I had on my list at 43 so I might look at an early FA move depending one round 1 teams.

So I don't have to decide until it's my pick? I have my eye on a player. If he's taken, I'll go with Saad, if not, I'll take that player, is that OK?
I'm asking this because in effect I'm "delisting" Saad after the delisting deadline earlier in the week.

Well in all of our discussion people were happy for 'Saad' to be cut during the season in the event you wanted a player on the FA list.

I don't see why you can't make the same call now.

If you don't take 'Saad' though he will be fair game in next years draft, should he make it back into the AFL.

I see what threenewpadlocks is saying... it's the equivalent of me deciding I want to delist Howard now and take pick 88 in the draft (but only once we get to pick 88, and only if there's a particular player I want available). I think, if the intention was to take Saad prior to the start of the draft that you should keep Saad on your list, and then when the window opens for Free Agency transfers you're free to drop him and pick up a free agent, just like everyone else.

Pick #58 - Luke Delaney
Also known as "Cam's Brother", Luke has switched clubs in the offseason to St Kilda. Going along with the Lightning policy of recycled players at new clubs, Luke should be a perfect fit for the Saints after they couldn't get Old Boy Brown back to Victoria from the Eagles. I'm expecting about 15+ games from him ensuring that I have a semi regular in my backline (that's what she said).

He has quite the build so I'm hoping for a bit more than just spoils.

Going retro, Delaney almost reminds me of Spider Everett.

Luke takes his dewg for a ride in a bid to pick up bitches.

Chase of the year.

Mitch Harvey is a nice choice. Once he's had some time to develop he could be quite important for Port when Schulz and Westhoff retire.

StAnselm, I doubt you're still awake but if you are, you're up :)

threenewpadlocks, if you can just put Campbell Brown to the top of your rankings, uncheck "Use Smart Autopick" and set your pick to "Automatic if Ranks". I'll try and get mine done tonight too then if they all tick over :)

...and we all know flaps will be online overnight ;)

Pick #58 - Jake Kolodjashnij
Also known as "Kade's Brother", I've gone with the less sexy version of the two. After Rockford picked up Kade, I'm assuming that Jake is going to be better because they gave him number 8 at the Cats. I traded out Thurlow, so I had to get another northerner as my girlfriend has forced my hand of at least one Launceston kid per draft. In 45 years, our whole squad will be Tasmanian (if people can last longer than Dustin Fletcher).

In all seriousness though, he fills a good backline gap that I have and hopefully he'll become a good half back flanker like myself. ;)

Somehow Jake was gifted #31 in this match. Turns out he's 31 times better than Kade, ey Rockford

At the very worst, I've got the better twin of the draft.

Once he starts getting games in the seniors I'd say he'd take them in the way Tippett used to take them for the Crows. Would still be stationed in the forward line but chip in with a handy 6-10 hit outs a match.

Mason Shaw has dibs on that role, so ZimzuM (and Harvey) will have to wait in line :)
