It is slightly amusing that the author of her obituary in the UK Guardian died 6 years ago. 👀

Life Goals unlocked: live longer than the dude who wrote your obituary.

Very sad news for Whovians with the passing of the much beloved Christopher Benjamin aka the lovable Henry Gordon Jago from The iconic Talons of Weng-Chiang.

Now reunited with his best friend George Litefoot (played by the late Trevor Baxter) in some smoky 19th Century pub in the Sky !

They were such an iconic/legendary duo that Big Finish Audio made a series of audio adventures about the two lovable crime fighters (I own a couple of these sets actually, very fun and charming audio's they are)

Really down about this news. Christopher also started in a 21st Century David Tennant episode Unicorn and The Wasp

Bob Eucker 90 Baseball Player and Broadcaster and actor

I know a few of our posters will remember him for his 54 year career as the caller for the Milwaukee Brewers and others will know him from Major League

Just saw the news :(

RIP ‘Mr Baseball’

Very sad news.

Twin Peaks was top tier television and Mulholland Drive, The Elephant Man and Blue Velvet were iconic/standout films

I hope David Lynch left with his attorney a 'Not to Be Opened in My Lifetime' envelope, in which Mulholland Drive is explained. Otherwise I (and thousands of others) have no chance of ever understanding that movie.

Yes, sad news. The ciggy's finally got him.
I saw Ereaserhead when it was released in the late 70's and it blew my mind. I wondered at the time if there was any chance that the maker of film would manage to have a career in Hollywood. And he did, an incredible career.

Knew him from his broadcaster days with the Brewers. My nephew and I went to a few Cubs games up there. Once had small stones thrown at our car after a win up at Wrigley Field North, as we caller Miller Park.

Went to a few games in Milwaukee back when he played with the Milwaukee Braves in 62 and 63, I'm sure. My grandmother lived in Kenosha, so we'd go up there for a game or two when I was young - ten or eleven. Just don't remember.

90 is a fair innings.

I only knew Eucker from the hilarious Wrestlemania interview with Andre The Giant.

Is there any celebrity death you can't use to air one of your petty grievances? It's boring.

Bitter bald man

United fan here and I got a chuckle.

Similar to when Margaret Thatcher died and SAF retired around the same time, the joke was somewhere in a cave there is a Scouser with a lamp and one wish left.

Growing up in the 90's everyone was wearing quiksilver brand boardies or shorts. Didn't realise quiksilver was an Australian brand.
Rip curl and quicksiver owners used surf with each other every morning at Torquay . In fact there was no point calling the companies till after 9am
