heck he may have had bleeding on the brain etc. If you hit your head on something PLEASE go to the doctor/hospital!! :(

I've got a really awesome scar top of my nose, between my eyes from when my knee buckled on me one night and I fell head first into the wooden handle of my dresser - this was also at 1am with a toothbrush sticking out of my mouth (somehow I spat that out in time)

I was more concerned about my knee until I realised I had split my head & there was a shit load of blood

My mum took me to the ER where we sat for like an hour until a nurse called me through - the only thing I was asked at both triage & the nurse was, "did you lose consciousness?", and it's like, "I hit my head, I have no ****ing idea"

The nurse then "cleaned" it, put a couple of pieces of tape on it and told me to go to my GP in the morning to see if I needed stitches... Never mind you can't do stitches 7 or 8 hours after the fact

Head injuries can be very serious, but it's pity that medical experts don't always treat them as such
