Sarcofago - The Laws of Scourge. The boys look a bit like a metal Milli Vanilli in the band photo imo. Classic.
did Sarcofago go drum machine in their later albums? They seem really industrial almost compared to the sloppy early stuff. and yes, I'm well aware google is sitting right next to me. :)

Reckon he's playing an electric kit on this one potentially but everything after is a terrible sounding drum machine from memory. I check out after this album. Had friends tell me to check out Hate/Worst/Crust. Probably some alright stuff on them.

Finishing up at the gym with Reign in Blood. I wonder how many people went tonight thinking they'd get a Slayer setlist (or actually thought they were seeing Slayer). Instead they got served up this shit sandwich. Screenshot_20241204_231940_Samsung Internet.jpg

Bit of death metal Sentenced into radio rock Sentenced. Guess the two albums win my admiration.

If I had a dollar for every time I have played any Sentenced album over the journey I would be long retired. The book "North from Here" is a great read too if you are so inclined. Lots of input from original vocalist Taneli Jarva which was fascinating.

Possessed - The Eyes Of Horror for the drive in this morning. I really can't click with the production on Beyond The Gates, for some reason it feels really demo-y whereas The Eyes is back to that sweet Seven Churches sound.

Well I moved to Tidal a few months back so this may not accurately represent my full years listening habits but here we go anyway…

I only use it when on the road/gym/work - still got 83k minutes worth (58 days) with Judas Priest comprising 7.5k minutes and coming in at number one.

63,317 minutes here, and that excludes the last 3 months on Tidal exclusively. Hitting the office maybe once a week enables some solid home listening sessions...
