New Serpent Column. Discography is absolutely flawless.
Checking them out now. Initial thought was it was potentially going to be too hectic (avant-garde style) for me but then they come up with this groovey riff and slow the tempo down and it hits a sweet spot. Then they go back to that avant-garde style. It makes for an interesting listen for sure. I do like the vocals. Im only one track in though...i'll keep listening

New album probably not their best (his? It’s just one dude) but still great. Mirror in Darkness and Kathodos are my favourites.

Those sort of comps are interesting. Not uncommon that the songs you like the most are a little underwhelming and ones you aren’t a big fan of deliver.
 
Wouldn’t mind going to see The Rods but not sure I’m up for leaving the house.

I was thinking of it, but my hectic gig schedule has prevented me from shaking the flu. Staying in this weekend to try and get over it, and binging snobby French films on Mubi while I'm cocooned in bed.
