Apparantly Opeth will announce an Aus tour soon. Probably wont see them again despite rating them live. Mikael can actually be quite funny in a somewhat awkward/kinda c***ish way

Their new music interests me somewhat but i dont think id be willing to pay $100+ or whatever it will cost to see them again.

I've been randomly going over their last 4 albums in the past few weeks, my appreciation for those albums has grown quite a bit. They were a very slow burn with me. I've seen them 3 times already but pretty keen to see them again. Always super tight live.

Went to the King Parrot / Weedeater show last night in Frankston. I didn't realise it was an all ages event. Made for some funny banter with the KP guys, wholesome family fun.

Went as expected.

Personal score was R1-2 Tyson, R3, 5-8 Paul, R4 draw.

Tyson's technique and ring iq prevented him from getting knocked down. But it was always going to be points decision to Paul once it got to R3. Paul's technique atrocious though; has his hands in a MMA position, rather than a boxing position. Put him against peak Tyson, it'd be a snuff film.
