Among the hordes earlier today to drop a grand or so on bits & pieces on sale. Two SC's, Harvey Norman and a Supermarket, ffs. Home in time to watch the test and feast on leftovers.
I gave Crüe's new EP spin yesterday, not as good as expected. They'd be better off reworking some of their old unreleased songs imo.
They’d be better off retiring quite frankly.
Their last tour was actually really good, as acknowledged by many on here n elsewhere. They mentioned new music then, so thought the new guitarist could have breathed some new life into the band inside the studio as well. Not to be, even their cover song misses the mark a little, although it's the best thing on there.
"Adorior - Bleed on My Teeth"my Album of the Year
Yeah that Adorior is a belter. Impressive."Adorior - Bleed on My Teeth"
Second place: "Sabbat - Sabbaticult"
A lot of stuff in contention for third. Those come to my mind first:
Brodequin - Harbinger of Woe
Prehistoric War Cult - Barbaric Metal
Sphinx - 900 Days of Ленинград
Nekus - Death Apophenia
Hellbutcher - Hellbutcher
Deathless Void - The Voluptuous Fire of Sin
Yes they were good live. Unfortunately that EP is very average.
Made the most of the Supercheap Auto Boxing Day sale amongst others. But avoided any shopping centres!
