Thought the lack of attacking options on the bench due to injuries was going to be decisive. Don’t think we played well from the moment they went down to 10 but good to get away with a win
I know who we missed badly. Ivan Perisic and his crossing.

1 point behind Man City with Luton next weekend whilst City play Arsenal at the Emirates

Matches against Fulham (h), Crystal Palace (a), Chelsea (h) and Wolves (a). Get 9 points at a minimum and who knows where we go from here.

Big Ange keep a lid on things is great even when others trying to talk up Spurs as a title contender.

Klopp last season Mason should focus on other things when their player escaped a red card for a kick to the head and popped up with the winner. Take some of your own medicine you ****wit

Really showed our lack of depth with a couple injuries meaning we had not too many attacking levers to pull once they went to 9 men. With madders and sonny carrying knocks there wasn't much ange could do. Thought maybe we could push porro further forward and wide. Without perisic he looks like our only other creative outlet.

Had to get the win once the went down to 9 men and we did but we made bloody tough work of it! Probably lucky to get the 3 points in the end but when that final goal went in it was ****ing sweet.

Very entertaining game to watch, far better watching Spurs this year play with an attacking mindset, pushing up on the other team when they have the ball etc

While we do need to continue to strengthen and we will in time, we had a good first window under Ange.
But don't think the personnel was the issue. Was watching on SkySports feed and Neville was bang on about our issues.

11v11 we play through the middle to create space out wide, which is what we kept trying to do against 9.
When what we needed was to widen the pitch to draw out their defence to create space in the middle, antithesis of Ange's build up style.

The one time we did play out wide and Matip kicked it in his own net.

Yeah but our wide options were going inside every time. Probably just needed to get Kulu left and Manor right to go wide and stay wide. Porro finally did it down the right and viola

A GLC for Maddison swap rather than looking and seeing PEH and Skipp would have been ideal. But he just can't be fit when we need him

The saltier tears are more glorious 24 hours later from every non Spurs supporter about VAR.

Mate, I’ve got a Gooner mate who has convinced himself that Jota shouldn’t have seen red because his first yellow shouldn’t have counted.😆

Got this one from same mate who lives in Dunfermline, Scotland.

I’ve watched every minute of this game, the FA need to investigate it for irregular betting patterns. 1. never a red card 2. Diaz goal onside 3. Bissouma tripped himself and Jota gets yellow card, one of those is unbelievable, all of them confirm cheating somewhere

Joel Matip putting the ball in his own net must have put a shit load on us then!

Tears are getting stronger and stronger. By the end of the week there will be calls for government enquiries about this
