Really needed to sign proper cover at the back

Think Spurs really badly need a defensive FB option. Someone who can shut down a side. Like a Tomiyasu type who can cover both sides but who prefers defending

Been really good all game but giving him the wingers to play into and run beyond is great. Spurs best player now which I didn't see coming last year. Does his best work with the pitch in front of him not behind him

Johnson twice could have sprung attacks on that play but went backwards. He really doesn't offer much outside of goals.

He is like a shadow winger double teaming with Johnson very well

Should be further ahead. And need to be with this backline and Haaland looming

Should be 3-1 ahead and yeah, it suits him so much more starting in the right channel rather than the touchline.

I know ange is right and in the long run it counts for little, but an 8th and one of the cups and I'm over the moon.

Leaves spurs thin on the right now, Johnson can't be backed up Moore. Don't think January is the time to solve it though especially with needing another cb

Whats the ideal situation with all fully fit CB’s?

2 first XI players (Romero, VDV)
2 back up CB’s (Dragusin, ????)

Forgetting wing backs / LB / RB. Purely Centre’s im talking. Can we not try to integrate a youngster into the first team.

Wasn’t Dorrington going to maybe get more chances this season?

It's really hard to say, the specific needs of how we play might be too much for some. It's a lot of sprinting and being able to play out from the back, probably doesn't wanna permanently scar some youngsters.

Really hope that goal is a turning point for Werner. He's so ineffective and yet at the same time he makes spurs so ****ing dangerous on the counter attack. He doesn't need to be mo Salah but even 10 goals in all competitions would be huge for spurs.
