Far too inexperienced a lineup for this environment. Some is forced with Gray and our defensive injuries and lack of getting Spence into the squad.

And then with the inexperienced lineup having Forster who can't move or play the ball properly adds to the stress of the team. Little wonder we've had our lowest possession % of the season.

Dragusin can't keep possession either

Bergvall shouldn't be in a midfield 3 away at Galatasaray

They needed better squad management and selection to protect them. Each one of Dragusin, Davies, Forster, Bergvall, Gray, Lankshear individually were the right choice for their spots tonight. But not all 6 of them. 3 of them 5 max

Could have gone with Vicario over Forster to calm us with the ball a bit more

And jabbed Romero up to play over Dragusin, Gray or Davies

This is a weird take, it's a fairly meaningless game. Lots of injuries and lots of guys playing too many minutes. You constantly say he should play more kids then when he does you still complain.

I said play an experienced side in this hostile environment. Ange has said we didn't handle the first 45 mins well with the ball. And he isn't wrong at all. I think he threw lambs to the slaughter with such a bad lineup

Would have preferred Bergvall vs Ipswich than in that environment. Or at least shielded him with having Bentancur plus Bissouma near him.

Dragusin and Davies is a walking nightmare for us. To throw Forster into the mix made things even worse again. If Romero couldn't get up for this game with a jab, the calmer on the ball Vicario was needed.
