Not convinced Gray has the skillset for the 6, big question marks from Leeds supporters was he back to goal stuff, but Bergvall looks decent doing that. Them two could share the double pivot and play with an attacking player like Kulu or Maddison as the attacking 10, with Sarr and Bentancur has the back up double pivots.

Would prefer to move on from Biss and Bentancur and sign an elite 6 who the kids can rotate with and learn from. But just dont see it happening.

Shame we aren't in for Dorgu who looks set for United. He'd be pushing Udogie for the starting LB spot no doubt about that. I wouldn't even mind if we were signing a RB and persist with Spence on the left, some of his outside the boot stuff on his right foot has been the few bits of attacking quality we've had of late!

Bentancur > Bissouma. Bissouma doesn't haven't any passing range he's only good when he drives. Should be ab 8 somewhere.

Bentancur has the passing but he's not physical enough to be a 6 and not defensive.

I think Lange might be the Deadman walking. Being told to do his job without a budget or proper backing, which trickles down to ange having a not good enough squad.

Why's Lange not being given the money to properly do his job? His strategy of too much youth can be questioned. But his senior signing success rate is decent.

I agree I just don't buy the argument that it's the wage and table position stopping them getting someone.
January's tough fair enough if they can't attract anyone good enough that's not a waste of money then fair enough too. But if it's just cause they don't wanna pay the wages well that's why Tottenham only ever get the B grade talent and no stars

I made a comment that a good and well run club will pay overs to change the dynamic of a team. Arsenal seemingly did it with Rice, Liverpool did it twice with Becker & Van Djik.

They were world class and genuine top 10 - 20 players in world football at the time. We do so out of desperation it seems
