Was curious to see how Ange wrecked Van De Ven seeing as every injury is his fault

Van De Ven missed nearly 200 days and 38 games across 2 seasons with Wolfsburg, amazingly almost identical at Tottenham. Almost like the guy was already injury prone to begin with.

That Sarr goal was a perfect show of what he can do and what he doesn't do enough.

Very powerful driving run from deep into the area that's his strength, little passes around the corner and hanging around the box out of the game is not his strength.

He played wing back in Portugal, not sure he's gone further up. An I'm guessing Moore and Kulu will share those minutes

It was very brief but ange mentioned he had to work on his attitude to start the season and he's turned it around under him.

I very much doubt ange sabotaged himself because he just randomly hated Spence.

But you're right, 0 credit for turning his career around just 100% his fault for not doing it earlier lol

Spence has outperformed Udogie at LB and Porro is still on his last legs. Should be LOTS of minutes for Spence for the rest of the season. Especially once he gets registered for the Europa League.

I would love to see Spence play at RB lol he's so good I'd happily sell Porro for good money if Madrid want it and use him next season with a back up

Give him a season where he isn't mentally / physically fatigued due to playing every single minute and I have no doubt some of the frustrations will disappear.

I didnt suggest you were.

Just dont see the point. Sell him for 50, spend 30 on an a back-up / replacement who needs to work into Ange's system which could well be a bust. Plus its a bit of a preemptive assumption to think Spence has permanently turned a corner and can be relied on as a #1 choice.

100% agree. He is a very good player that is a victim of staying fit!

The injured guys get glossed over for any deficiencies they have and held up as heroes, whilst the overworked are "useless"

Yeah it's not the first time he has said something where its like give this guy a break. First couple of times you could say slip of the tongue to. But its regularly said that he is making do with him and was used as an emergency option only by Ange. His 1 clear area of mismanagement this season imo

Really liked him at Leverkusen. Underwhelmed at Villa. But as an extra body it wouldn't be the worst. Can't play 9 so we really need to bank on Richarlison staying fit
