Okay you nag, nag, nag me to do it. So here it is!

1. Rainbow - Rising
2. Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell
3. Deep Purple - Live in Japan
4. Yngwie Malmstein - Odyssey
5. Deep Purple - California Jam
6. Gary Moore - Wild Frontier
7. Scorpions - Eye to Eye
8. Dio :p  - Dream Evil
9. Led Zepplin - II & IV
10. Van Halen - Women and Children First

And I really could add 3 more Deep Purple albums, one more Rainbow and one more Sabbath. But you only asked for 10.:)

I have ALL of these albums and they are all fantastic, almost faultless. Couldn't squeeze them into my top ten, only because I have 10 that I like more.. mine could just as easily have been 50 or even 100.

7. Scorpions - Eye to Eye

This, I just gotta laugh at. I paid a fiver for this one and was disappointed! They aren't even good at doing hands-across-the ocean-type soft arse power ballads anymore!

Allright Darky, I'm getting onto this. I've seen a lot of albums listed here that I consider more blues than metal and more pop than metal. Now, I'm not criticising just highlighting that we all see these things differently. Having also said that, it's time we saw some hardcore ****ing top 10's.

Now there's a thought,
Just for the hell of it, why not list your top 50?

I suppose it's like Sheahan and Walls doing their top 50s... people don't so much read them to find out who you rate, they read them to pick faults with how you've rated them. Just leaves the author wide open for nothing but criticism.

Having said that, I'm game! Gimme a day or two. :D

Slayer - Reign in Blood

Coroner - Punishment for Decadence

Kreator - Extreme Aggression

Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness

At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul

Emperor - Anthems

Cradle of Filth - Vempire

Metallica - Master of Puppets

Death - Symbolic

Tetsament - First Strike Is Still Deadly (Re-recorded 1st & 2nd album - truly awesome FWASH METAL!!!!)

Cant believe Deicide didnt make your top ten.

I really didn't want to answer this thread, but a last minute SMS has forced my hand :)

Choosing my BEST 10 is impossible, so I'm going to just quickly spring out some names & probably forget a bucket load.

I'll only put 1 entry from each band-

Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys 1 & 2
Savatage - Gutter Ballet
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak
Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Ozz
Def Leppard - Hysteria
Tobias Sammett - Avantasia Part 1
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Alice Cooper - Killers
Pink Cream 69 - Electrified
Scatterbrain - Here comes trouble! (ah what the ****)

Forget a bahjillion albums, so this is a fairly dodgy list- so bite me.
