Rojo was an invaluable help to Judd etc with his blocking in the packs.
Hansen was a solid CHF for a few years but was cut down by injuries.
Ebert isn't a bad player and I feel his shortcomings here were mainly Woosha's fault.
Nicoski fought through some big injury worries to become a deadly HFF. It's a shame his body didn't allow him to be at the top of his game for longer, but he could play.

To me a dud is someone that should be good, but isn't. But then in OP you talk about most disliked player.
For dud, it's got to be Sampi. Should have been a star.
In regards to most disliked player, I never really liked it when Scott Selwood played in the last few years. Rather have given the game to someone else. Throw in Ash Smith as well.

Yes injuries killed their AFL career. Both could have been better players with a bit of luck.

From memory, knocked out with a fist from behind whilst up in a marking contest, landed awkwardly and did his ACL.
Might have been a NAB game or first of the season.

I think Sampi was good and really unfair to call a dud because he didn`t become a star .
