As much as I like Netball it definitely shouldn't be an Olympic sport.

The lack of countries competitive in netball isn't the only thing preventing it from getting included in the Olympics.

World Netball has refused for a long time to even recognise men's netball at an international level so as long as that continues it'll likely never become and Olympic sport. Their policy is that international netball should remain female only.

Great run from Michele Jenneke in the hurdles too. She was a 13.0 runner (who had run a one-off race in 12.8). Now she's truly world class running 12.6 consistently.

My mate used to call it 50km cheating. Alternatively it's the athletics endurance event for non Africans who aren't competitive in distance running.

That said the 50k walkers are some of the toughest athletes on the planet without question. So tough on the body. Pity they've shortened it.
