None, they're all over rated, on here anyway.

Yup,

Troy.

It has taken me a very long time to get on the Troy bandwagon but I can pinpoint the time when I jumped on to the game against Sydney.

Trouble is, whilst I think that he is under rated by North fans, I reckon, unfortunately, that he is in that type of area where he could be considered trade bait. if you have to give up something good to get something good, I reckon that, unfortunately he fits the bill - as does the schnozz - though I reckon we'd back ourselves to replace Troy more easily.

I really hope he doesn't go but I reckon that he is that reliable type of player - who is not a star of the game - who might be considered tradeable.

Good question, Petrie, Watt, Hale, that'll do for now.

Very hard to find an underated player on this board but I would have to say Shannon Grant.
I dont understand peoples anger towards him. He will probably finish top 5 in the B&F yet he has been bagged all year.

As for the most overated, Leigh Harding. One of the most selfish and lazy players on our list, and above all else his goal kicking sucks. I dont know why Laids likes him so much.

Fair point speedy. His best is very good, so when he plays an ordinary one he's an easy target. Shagga was our second highest possession winner with 467 (Simmo 544). Stevo was third nearly 100 possies behind and Grant generally uses the ball well. He also was fourth on the goal kicking and tackles lists with 23 and 55.

Overrated: Grant - Check the video, his disposal is no where near as good as it used to, plus his attack on the ball is poor. He is a glorified HF.

Underrated: Watt - We would be in even more trouble without him.

Underrated???? I rate him lower than a pregnant snakes belly!! We'd be better off with 17 on the field. In fact we do have 17 , even when he's out there!!

The most underrated players are Colbert and Makepeace. We fell in a hole when these guys missed this year. None more important.
have to agree with the colbert as underated, when we see courage like that week in week out we know. it would take a top 4 four finish to get some of our better players noticed,

although mike sheahan did put colbys name up for the round 11 all australian team.

makepeace as yet has not caught the deserved eye of the commentators but we know what we have in the skull.

overated =liegh harding should of given j clayton more game time than turtle.

turtle=trade for me.

Underated - Rawlings. I know he is no star but he did some nice jobs particulary at the start of the year. I'll give Motlop a mention as well. Because a few people rave about him it has meant that he seems to get marked very hard on these boards. I thought he had a pretty good year particulary in the second half.

Overated - Watt. Can't believe someone said he is underated. Maybe they were taking the pi$$. He had a few decent games but overall didn't improve as much as he should have. Took some aweful hidings during the year. Hall kicked 5 on him and some posters on here were saying what a good job Watt had done.

Wow! Nearly all the 'overrated' players mentioned were coincidently those that had bad years. Petrie, Harvey, Grant etc.

People must only remember Watt's last few games. He's no champion full back (yet) but I felt he had a reasonable year. How could anybody consider him 'overrated' anyway?? Nobody on here (or very few) claim he is a champion FB.
