A couple of big trades this week with Drummo and Bartel in. Still got 4 trades and $200K in the bank. 2 trades next week (Ablett?) to push into finals.

I must be the worst ruck selector in the history of Supercoach. Around 1/3 of my trades have been by picking a ruck! Wood out again this week again.

I spent all my tickets trying to get into the finals. I have one trade left and am saving that for $500,000+ emergencies.

I was thinking about what makes a successful Supercoach season. I reckon if you can get 8-10 weeks of quality footy out of most of your youngsters then you generally do well. I had Rioli, Palmer and Hill from the outset. I snaffled Cotchin and J. Morton before their price rose. Another successful pick was Houli. It meant that injuries to my starting side didn't hurt too much - except in the backline where my selections of Proud and Hansen didn't pay off immediately. If you screw up your bench picks, then you are behind the 8 ball. You don't have the cash injection and you have no support in the event of injury or poor performance for your starting players.

I also brought Bartel in for one last lunge at the finals.

Ablett sitting on the bench is really starting to piss me off. Particularly playing against teams who don't have him.

Also, I had buddy as my captain till 6:00 last night when I thought I'd change it to Judd. Could be a couple of costly mistakes right there.

What really pisses me off is that I was starting to peak at the right time and only had to scrape in the finals like last year with trades up my sleeve. That ****ing loss to the rubbish Afterlife crueled my season.

Should score over 2500 this week as well.
