Sir M. To address your question (and thank you for asking)

I am the original Tardus. If you look at my posts you will see I am classed as a "Big Footie Apprentice" & joined in Jul 2008.

The other one, who has hijacked my identity used an _ underscore to "pinch" the name. If you look at their posts you can clearly see the _ after the name. You will see that they are classed as a "Big Footy Newbie" with a join date of Apr 2009.

So I was here first.

By the way, this is not the only case of ID fraud. The same has been done with "Such is Life 9". They have added an _ underscore to this name as well.

As I have said before, they must be a very disturbed individual if they go around stealing peoples ID's. Which happens to be a Federal Offence.

I guess it would be funny if the _ underscore one was not such an idiot and treated people with some respect.

so why do you keep responding to your own posts?

You are right Sir M. I should not indulge this person by responding. It does get under my skin a bit that this is being done.

I am sure you would not like to see a Sir Markalot_ disgracing your good name?

But as I said, you are right. Responding only encourages them more.

when was my ID used by someone else??what page is it on??

My sincere apologies, Such is Life 9. I was mistaken. The ID fraud happened to Swans12.

This ID was taken and registered as Swans12_ Note the underscore. This seems to be the standard modus operandi used by the ID thief's. If you are interested this happened on page 67.

I think we would all agree, these actions are a very low act.

For the record Sir M. I can asure you that I am one indervidual. I would not be so disrespectful.

YOU IDIOT

We can plainly see the underscore after your name, you fool. Do you think people on this forum are that stupid that they can't see that. STOP INSULTING OUR INTELLEGENCE.

You are so silly you fell, "hook, line & sinker" for that post. I admit, I made it up to see if you would crawl out from under your rock (apologies to Borgy & Roger but I had to flush out this fool).

Now, stop acting like an idiot and crawl back. Better still, crack open your skull with said rock!!

No no Tardus, give the underscore impostor credit, he actually had to look up my profile on the umpire's website to find out I liked the song he quoted!! Note that the venue for the night was not even posted!!!
You and I both know the group have never had a karaoke night, thank GOD for that!

Gee the news in the league has been quiet this week if you have to talk about the umpires singing abilities!!!

Getting off that though and the subsequent crap which resulted, there are some good matches this weekend.

From the BDAFL Website:
"In other news there is a couple of internal issues doing the rounds in the league which have only surfaced because some people have not been discreet in their actions in recent weeks.

The Board is locked into maintaining what the by-laws dictate and find there is no room to move on either matter."

Wonder what all that means???

Buggered if I know, but what I do know is that the BDAFL has had scant regard for sticking to the By-Laws in the past! They seem to twist and turn the meaning of By-Laws to suit their agendas.

Wouldn't mind knowing what the ludicrous comments on the website mean, though. On the face of it it seems to be a ridiculous comment to put up there.

Tips for the weekend gents?

....AFL not BDAFL.

Will the blues eat the pies?
There's a few out there that think the Hawks can do the cats???
Forgetable freo v woeful westcoast?

Newcastle beating Terrigal this weekend the huge upset! Wonder how the boys will recover at Terrigal, considering the next game is against the other Grand Finalists from last year, Cardiff at Bill Elliott Oval. 1 vs 2 should be an absolute cracker of a game and let's hope for Terrigal's sake that the wheels haven't fallen off.
Some good matches coming up before finals, which might be a change from the crap dished out over the last few years.
Wyong well done to get within 20 gals of Cardiff this week, but reading the team lists, me thinks Cardiff didn't play their best side and why would they? Gosford hammered Lake Macquarie and by geez for all the talk at the start of the year, the Crows have not lived up to the hype.
Warners Bay with a very hard fought win against an undermanned but determined Killarney Vale. Though there was going to be an upset by the Bombers considering the cattle they had on the park but the toughness of the Doggies shone through.
Heard there was a report on a Killarney Vale player for kicking and striking after the game. Anyone at the game care to elaborate???

For those that are interested, I have a few photos of the Bulldogs Vs Bombers game up on my NEW website.

Thats right punters, I now have my own website and it can be found at;

www.dsfphotography.com.au

Click on the "Galleries" button, then the 2009 BDAFL link.

So Far I have only moved across the 2009 images, but hope to do the 2008 and maybe 2007 ones shortly.

Any feedback on site or photos welcome

Watched a bit of the Gosford v Crows and your right they haven't lived up to anything. Got to the last half of Terrigal and City game to. Good to see Terrigal get knocked off and well done to Pete Van Dam and his ill Discipline again costing his side on countless occasions. When something or someone gets on his nerves he snaps and the whole team gets dragged down.

Well definately was an interesting round of footy this weekend. For those that are interested, I have added photos of the Bulldogs Vs Tigers game up on my NEW website.

http://*******.com/warnersbay-vs-gosford

also have moved across most of 2008 and 2007 photos from the final series. Click on the "Galleries" button to get back to the main page and look for BDAFL link.

Any feedback on site or photos most welcome

Underscore impostor strikes again!!! Now you are picking on a hapless photographer! I have to admit man, it is funny watching the stupidity of it all and the simplicity of your actions.

Terrigal were disgraceful yesterday. More interested in arguing with umpires than playing footy. Played from behind the whole day, lacked leadership and skills and basically didn't deserve their 1st place status. Hopefully this is only a hiccup as they have had a good year to date.
Cardiff looked the premiers. Class acts all over the field.
Warners Bay looked very good too today, but the opposition flattered them with an insipid display of poor football that typifies the gap between the good and the ordinary sides.
My sources tell me Killarney Vale had a lot out yesterday, but somehow I think this covers up the fact that they are only playing to get into the finals.
Lastly, Newcastle thumped Lake macquarie. Surprising much? Marty Dinneen kick a lazy 7 and from what I was told, could have kicked 15.

Next week's games don't look like too much. Is anyone going to the WB vs Newcastle game Tuesday night? Might give a report from there if I can bothered going. The prospect of seeing ferals out at 7:30pm in Warners Bay doesn't thrill me....

Comments anyone about the weekend?

go easy mate, the boys played without a bench and a few injuries!!

good, hard, tough game which was mostly clean. City ran out winners on fitness. If anyone is a real supporter of this league, get out to the return match as there WILL be fireworks!!

City Bulldogs game best I've seen for a while. Tough, hard footy from both sides, with some patches of brilliance thrown in. Low scoring in the first 3 quarters but end to end footy with desperate defence keeping the scores down.
At 3 quarter time the Bay up by 8 points, but the contest was dead even. Attrition ended up being the key with the Bay running out of bench players due to injuries. The Blues took control of the centre in the last quarter delivering to their key forwards and ran away with the game. Luke Rawnsley was a brick wall the Bay couldn't get past in the final term.
To be any chance in the rematch Warners will need to have more left in the tank to finish out the game.
