Biggest sell-out in music history's a big call. I can think of dozens of bands over the years who have changed their style to make it more mainstream, or once held anti-establishment attitudes then become establishment corporate rock/pop/MTV-friendly: The Doors, Rolling Stones, Stranglers, The Clash, UB40, Eric Clapton, Metallica, Aerosmith, Offspring, Dre, Leanne Rimes and that other C&W chick (Faith Hill?), No Doubt (who used to be a ska band), and punk band that signs with a major label, etc etc etc.Originally posted by Bresh
