I'm going to create two new usernames. So I'm going to post "staying at GWS 100% according to my sources who are VERY reliable", "going to the Hawks 100% according to my sources who are VERY reliable" and "coming to the Baggers 100% according to my sources who are VERY reliable". So one of my accounts I'll look like a bloody genius.

What if he signs for St Kilda on a $42 million contract?

I am guessing there is a reason Josh k isn't often quoted on here.

Not buying this theory one bit. Petroro is close friends with SOS and The Judge. Do you really think he would go down that path of Playing the club for more cash? In normal circs maybe, but not when you have a couple of mates at the club.. I would think there would be a fair level of honesty in any discussions

Reckon in this industry everyone knows that business is just business. As long as there's no manipulation of friendships for personal gain I think anything would be forgiven.

haha absolutely sounds like something you'd see on a Thai massage menu.

Look it up. Quite funny but a little dark. Pushes the envelope, not unlike yourself. Wouldn't last a day on bf due to site rules.
Oh mate... C & H is brilliant :adore:

Cheers...I'll check It out! :D

This is really starting to feel like a Shiel deja vu.

We almost had Shiel, if essendon didn't cave and hand over 2 first rounders in the final 30 mins of trade period he would be in navy blue.

I understand that but it would be very disappointing to lose out again. In my opinion this would be a bigger loss because Coniglio is >>> then Shiel.

Yeah doesn't look like Cogs is happening. The stage is set for a dramatic (and stage managed by the AFL) re-signing at GWS in the bye week between round 23 and week 1 of the finals.

Feels like that was the plan from the AFL and Giants all along. They love all this player drama movement nonsense make it more like NBA and US Sports.

At this point I would almost rather Cogs went to Hawthorn than stayed at GWS, least you know the whole thing wasn't orchestrated by the AFL.

Think he cops a lot of unwarranted flack because he's not an out and out star.

He has the second most distance covered for the Tiges on average this year.

I also think he cops flak because he plays for the Tigers (insert Dons, insert Pies). Thank God people at Club land recruit with their head, not their heart.

And like Kelly.
And like Martin.
And like Gaff.
And probably a few others too.

It's not an isolated occurrence.

I think this is the new norm. High profile players don't need to rush into a decision, they can sit back and let the market drive their price up, and the media circus will connect whatever distant and minuscule dots they can find to make the narrative compelling for mainstream consumption.

Doesn't look like?

You yourself have backflipped about half a dozen times in the last fortnight based on hints and whispers from strangers on the internet.

Just chill.

No decision has been made public, we're as good a chance as anyone else, better than some based on available info. If it happens, great, if it doesn't, so be it. But implying the tea leaves indicate one outcome or another right now is just silly.

Same goes for the desperate begging for rumours that seems to have crept in lately. "ITK1, please tell me something", "ITK2, can you confirm what you said 2 hours ago", "ITK3, can I name my firstborn after you". It's getting a bit ridiculous.

The main thing that people on here are NOT mentioning is that Coniglio is listed as 2 weeks away on the injury front - he may very well be back for finals for GWS. Do you honestly think he is going to come out and say “I’m off” before GWS is finished??

Pour yourselves a Bonox, have a lie down, and wait....the only time we will hear from Coniglio before the end of the season is if he re-signs with GWS, and no doubt guys like B70 will let us know if thats the case.

Patience everyone. I believe chronologically this is what has occurred.
- Cogs informed of our decision to make Teague coach
- Cogs advises club early last week following this that he would like to join Carlton and sets the wheels in motion to start finalising contract T&Cs
- Media reports start leaking, Club respectful of Cogs desire to keep dealings private until end of the year pours water on it by leaking false info to AFL and media outlets (hence new reports that he may stay put)
- Carlton send final contract to Cogs for execution and wait for end of GWS season for the deal to be announced.

Please tell me this does not make the most sense given what has occurred to date?
