Two thoughts:
1. Interesting re: Papley...this is the first we've heard of him being 'not happy at the Swans'
2. Re: Caldwell, did any ITK actually allude or mention his name, or are we just talking about players who would be nice to get?

A few of us have been banging on about Caldwell for over a year. Dont believe an itk poster has mentioned him. He is imo a player we should be targeting. Plus he is very close to a few of our lads.
Its more hope. But i just see the fit and think he would be in our sights
Riddle me gang. What type of player is Caldwell and why would he compliment our team so good?

We already have Deluca of the same ilk, who was part of both of clubs premierships.
It was Peel as the Dockers alignment that stacked their teams to win those GF’s in between.

Explosive, explosive player. Quick AF. Not bad disposal either. He's a fantastic inside mid prospect, but more in the mould of Luke Shuey/Travis Boak inside mid as opposed to the pure brute style of Cripps/Wines etc.

I just watched a video, where Caldwell suggested he has modeled his game on Joel Selwood... so there will be a lot of ducking and flopping then?
I want experience with mongrel and Papley has it. Reckon Martin is a mistake.

In terms of ceiling, yeah I can see where you're coming from.
Will he be a better player than Walsh? IMO probably not. But if everything goes 100% right and both players reach their absolute maximum potential, Caldwell could and probably would be better than Walsh.
That being said, I'd still rather Walsh by a country mile.
