If Wines wanted to come to us then I would think that we would come up short when it comes to having the currency to get him. I would think they would hold him to his contract and wait until we have the two first round picks that I would guess would be required to get a player like that. Similar to how we held Gibbs to his contract.

I doubt they take a future first and second which is what we may have left to trade with at best after Papley and Martin but who knows.

For those who don't think Wines is the right fit for us, he is. He would replace an aging Murphy and allow Murphy to spend a bit more times rotating elsewhere. Also allows Walsh to play more wing and IMO Walsh could be the best wingman in the league very soon.

Who the hell is Brett Temple???
Facebook guy who runs a Carlton page and gets all his info from this place and than posts it on Facebook.

The lack of news on the Martin and Papley front is concerning. I suggest the latter is no doubt linked with the Daniher trade

Cheer up DEl, you seem overly pessimistic.

The only "big" deals still pending are Hill, Daniher and Papley. Martin is, by all reports, done in principal with different options agreed to by GC depending on what is required for Papley.

Not at all surprising that the AFL want these three big deals to go down to the wire to keep the conversation bubbling until the trade deadline. If they can't have a "busy" trade period, they'll want a "tense" one.

If you want Dodoro summed up, he told a player he was courting that they couldn’t get any more tattoos as he thought it was a bad look.
Was interesting listening to Adam Cooney reveal the tactics/conversations/gamesmanship etc on trade radio today, he was referring to his own experience when * recruited him for pick 37.

Basically confirmed what everyone already knows or thought about him.
