Peter Ryan from the Age just stated that on deadline day, teams can't lodge a trade until 3pm.

So basically, EVERYONE CALM THE fu** DOWN. Go outside and mow the lawn or some shit idk.
Great news for me. About to go in for a job interview. I now won't be tempted to be checking my phone instead of answering questions.

I've listened to Trade radio so much since the beginning of the trade period and haven't really gotten much out of it other than I now want to buy a Toyota and enter the draw at choices flooring to win $5k on flooring....
I've never built anything in my life but I'm having thoughts of having a career change and enrolling in th he Builder's Academy do I can be a legend

I googled who the Brisbane Lions list manager is (who SOS was apparently having a coffee with), Dom Ambrogio, and read that he was Gold Goast’s rcruitment manager from 2008 to 2017. Maybe it had to do with gauging information and doing due diligence on Jack Martin and not necessarily a trade with Brisbane.

If Dodo fu**s this up, and hangs onto Daniher who has a poor season and decreases in value next year, he may well go the way of his namesake.....

You know they became extinct because they couldn’t fly (didn’t need to) and the introduced predators had a field day. They also tasted like shit. The Dodoro comparisons make sense.

Swans offer to Essendon is more than enough to get the deal done for Daniher, it includes multiple quality current & future picks. It way overvalues Daniher.

It would take a special kind of crazy for Dodoro to now not accept it, he may be trying to squeeze a little more out of the Swans in the hope they have a double blink in them.

Thanks for the update OR

Gil: Right team, how can we maximise the money we make from Trade Week this year?
Pleb 1: What if we make Trade Week last two weeks, that way we can sell advertising opportunities at a premium for twice as long?
Pleb 2: What if we telecast the final few hours of Trade Week, and have Fox pay a premium for the rights to it?
Gil: Great ideas! Make them happen!
Pleb 3: Hold on guys! The longer we give clubs to make trades, the less excitement there will be during the last few hours when the telecast is happening.
Gil: It's OK, I've got this...we just ban clubs from trading until mid afternoon!
Plebs 1, 2 & 3: We are not worthy!

Perhaps Dodoro's job is on the line if * didn't win a final next year.

He knows that 1st round picks won't help * win a final for the next year or two.

Therefore Dodoro needs a replacement for Daniher and another player that makes EFC better next year.

Sydney will need to get a player involved to get the deal over the line.

SOS should just trade pick 9 like Saints did and split the two picks. Tell Essendon bad luck you took too long you Muppets.
Yeah, I would love to see that.
But, SOS may not want to risk loosing out on Papley - after waiting so long!

Part of me now wants Dodoro to not accept the offer, in the hope of squeezing more out the swans, and for the swans to tell him to GAGF.

.....and then for the Swans to turn to SOS and do a fair deal for Papley.

The fact that Philips requested a trade to * last night gives me hope.

This means * want him 1st of all. Now we need each other, obviously at different levels but the need is there.

I'd say it's all posturing till the finish line and Daniher will get to Swans and Papley to us.

Martin is a given regardless.
