I'm a Carlton fan through and through. However I live on the Gold Coast and want to support my local team, so I'm a member and have been to every home game the last 3 years. It's hard stuff...

I'm also a Carlton member fwiw. When the 2 play eachother there's no doubt I'm supporting Carlton.

Has any had a thought to the afl doing this deliberately. They want to give Carlton some compensation for its years down the ladder but they know the afl public would ****ing hate it. So instead they set in motion a plan. For GC to get overs in priority picks but for them to sneakily not release Martin on a good deal for him to get to us for free. They in turn add conditions to GC priority package that they have to do this with a pick exchange between Carlton and GC that while looks fair to them as they want to go further up the draft it bloody well favours Carlton with an extra pick 20 Martin for a 6 pick slide. ****ing marvellous. What if there’s a separate 9 and 43 for 15 and 20 deal? Still pissed?

Throw in GC's future second and you'd have to consider it. Keep in mind picks 15 and 20 will get bumped back 3-4 spots, so you're probably looking at picks 19 & 24.

Whether he goes anywhere near that high is another question, but it's starting to sound more likely that he'll be taken in the top 10.
