***************************************************

Just like to thank Aphrodite and the other Carlton mods who started the Bluemours NON Discussion Thread and who have kept it free of chat over the past few years.

It helps so much when you just don't have the time to read through this thread, cheers and great job.

Maybe because he’s been at the club for 3 years now. He’s a carlton person.

You’re making just as many assumptions by assuming he is embarrassed by it.

Unless there is a credible source suggesting Jack has a view one way or the other (and I’m not talking about twitter likes) then it’s guesswork all round.

You have shown in this thread that you have an agenda against Liddle and you are using that agenda to form an opinion of what is happening between the club and Jack.

Maybe he’s bitter, maybe he’s not. I doubt anyone on bigfooty knows either way
He publicly apologised to his father for not having his contract renewed; and suggested he was to blame. He liked a post, or several, that suggested he felt his father had been unfairly treated. I think its reasonable to assume he might likely have felt an uncomfortable feeling resembling embarrassment; don't you think? That assumption's probably validated by the recent reports of him wanting to leave. On balance, it's probable that he was offended by the club's actions don't you reckon ?

Of course I have an agenda, I want the CEO to go. But regardless, I'm not making those observations up, and the inferences I've drawn aren't unreasonable.

yes it certainly was, but do you think it may work if we have Crips, setters, and Oliver getting the ball out to Walsh, Martin, and Williams. If Oliver comes in he may just replace Ed in a year or 2.
you mAY ROTATE FISHER IN THERE AS A SPEEDY RECEIVER AS WELL WHEN cRIPS REST FORWARD. could work

We involved brown paper bags in our good old days.

Most clubs operated this way back then. Well, except for a few who couldn't afford the paper bags, let alone the money to put inside them, eg. St.Kilda :p

Yeah 6. Debuted for us in round 7 of 1992. We were penalised for something Sydney did.

Wasn't it that Williams that was penalised with a suspension for not reporting his payments from Sydney.
Weren't Sydney fined and Williams suspended?
Sydney paid their own penalty for their actions, we paid the price for Williams' own penalty.

Loving that there's so many Bluemours at the moment, even if they are conflicting. Many thanks to those who share what they hear!

Part of me also hates this time of year and I just want trade period to be done and dusted so I know who ends up where. Unfortunately I'll be waiting a while

If you round 7 up it is nearly 10. And ‘up to $850,000’ - why stop there if we are hedging with fluffy language?

I honestly can’t believe we gave Zac Williams a deal that might be as much as $1.4 million per year for nearly 10 years... and that’s just the salary cap figure - who knows, Carlton might be paying him under the cap too!

Cripps could be devastated by this - in fact, I’ve heard from up to 3 sources that he has immediately demanded a trade as a result. And Walsh could also be considering demanding a trade too.

Crisis times at Carlton. Do I get a spot on footy classified now?
Media can criticise all they like. If Williams helps us play finals, he's worth every bit of the 25 mil and 15 years we've offered.

What really? Mark Robinsons running with 29 mil over 19 years, and apparently a prestigious scholarship for Williams' first born child. Don't know who to trust these days...

Whats all the oliver chat about, i would highly doubt hes on the market
For harry? not a chance
And to similar to cripps

The main reason to make finals is to delay the trade distraction for a few weeks.

Imo the speed comes from the mind and the hands ..

That sounds basically the same as becoming a master of Karate after waxing a row of cars for days on end.
