Depends on Heeney's medical.

If we're confident on it not being a long term issue I'm driving Jack to Sydney.

Sydney would not accept.

People don't seem to understand just how much marketing that club has driven through Heeney.

He's an instantly recognizable face in Sydney by the majority of the general public.

Think about that for a second. There are maybe three or four players on their list that can say that.

If Heeney could get over his injuries it would take as much to extract him from the Swans as it would getting Cripps from the Blues.

I am reliably told that Chris Judd is a serious chance of coming across to Carlton.

Oh man, that was the season I signed up here. I lived on BF neglecting all and sundry, riding every new piece of CJ-related news. Then I remember listening to the announcement on SEN, live. Ah the memories, regardless of how history views it, that preseason was such an exciting hopeful time.

Track 3 from the upcoming CovidSafe AFL Trade Album is out:

Heard it Through BigFooty

(a Marvin Gaye cover)

Ooh, I bet you're wonderin' how I knew
'Bout your plans to be a Blue
With some other players you knew before
Between the two other blokes
You know we need you more
It took me by surprise I must say
When I found out yesterday

Don'tcha know that I heard it through the grapevine
Ken no longer thinks you play fine
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine
Oh, we’re just about to sign you Wines

Money, money yeah
(I heard it through the grapevine)
(Port no longer thinks you play fine Ollie, ooh)

I know a fan ain't supposed to cry
But these dreams I can't hold inside
Seein’ you play at the MCG
adding a Norm Smith as B.O.G.

and Jack could have told your dad by yourself
That you need to play for someone else
Instead he heard it through BigFooty
It’s a Navy Blue you dream to be

Viney, Viney yeah
(I heard it through the grapevine)
(Dees no longer think you do jack, lately)

Oh, I heard it through BigFooty
And I'm just about to bag the Dees

Ollie and Viney yeah
(I heard it through the BigFooty)
(Not much longer would you lose games fellas, ooh)

Posters say, "Believe half of what you read
Son, and most of what Barass70 says"
But I can't help but be confused
If it's true please tell us Reg
Do you plan join the Blues
With the other players you knew before?

and Don'tcha know that I heard it through the grapevine
Giants no longer have the cap space
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine
That we lead the Josh Kelly race

Don't you know I heard it through BigFooty
Not much longer would you be a Giant
Josh, I heard it through the grapevine
Ooh, on your outside skills we’ll be so reliant

Yeah, yeah, yeah
(I heard it through the grapevine)
(That the AFL doesn’t mind
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

Yes! RB this is gold!
For the haters of RB's style, I raise an eyebrow, judgmentally.
This is legit the best ITK type delivery we've had, folks.

Don't get all the hype about Saad. He runs a lot but then just kicks and hopes. He gets himself in trouble when he just runs for running sake. How many of the top 8 sides have a Saad type running player. Brisbane don't, Richmond don't, Geelong don't, Saints, Eagles and Pies certainly don't. Port and Dogs sort of do but all the finals teams have back flankers with great kicks and the willingness to kick into the corridor.
Why do we feel the need for a Saad type player. I don't think we need him. What we do need is more midfield help

Will be disappointing to miss out on Saad (again). Hopefully we learnt from the Papley situation last year though and haven't put all our eggs in the one basket.

Although no names being mentioned at this stage are even a backup option. Small forwards are light on unless we can convince Hill. Trading for a top tier mid is a pipe dream, as it is every year.

An accumulator in Crouch is lower down the pecking order of priorities for me, but sits above adding young talent (Caldwell) and role players (Newnes etc.). Don't think we can afford to come away with just Williams, so I'd probably reluctantly go after Crouch. Shouldn't be too hard to win his services I wouldnt think.

I will never understand why some posters want to annoy and question ITKs to the point of driving them away.

Utter madness that ruins it for the majority.

I hope our ITKs can see past the very few that do that and know that most of us truly appreciate their contributions.

But if those few don’t antagonise ITK posters, how will the rest of us know how clever they are?

That’s the problem.

Is it just me or is Wines/Viney not really the type of mid we need. Cripps, Setters, Curnow already are that type of player. Just think we need more the outside-inside type like a Merrett, Dunkley, Taranto etc. Doesn't have to be those specific players but of that ilk.
Viney is an extractor like Cripps, not a need imho.
Wines is a link player like Setters, only with more size and aggression and kicks goals. Need.
Merrett and Taranto can play all-round like Ed, only less lockdown but more impact than Ed. Need.
Viney is the least necessary but we could still use him and look to put Kennedy forward if Jack leaves or trade him out to help bring in one of the above.

Tommy Morris is reporting that a hard nosed Dees midfielder could be on the trade table.

Was hoping it was Gus Brayshaw, turns out to be Alex Neal-Bullen whom is about as appealling as being whipped with barbed wire.

Not going to waste my time clicking on this annoying clickbait stories anymore. There will be nothing of significance happening (Saad decision aside) for another week (at least)

Know you're trying to be funny, but you've missed the mark on ANB there Elmer.

Would be a worthwhile pickup on the cheap, just like Newnes turned out to be. Immediate improvement in the forward line and sets a decent bar for Cunners and Co to need to meet.

1. Sceptical of why Heeney could be traded so cheaply, assuming there's a catch re Heeney's longevity.
2. Pleased somewhat if it's true and Heeney is well.
7. Saddened at the ending of the Silvagni FS connection.
We have the attraction of A. Russell to help him.

If I did come across a titbit I'd hand it to a mod to post because I'd be crucified if turn out to be a Bluemour rather than Bluefact. Where is the Bluefact thread again?
If I had ITK super powers, I wouldn't post at 10 pm. Too many dopes on the plonk.
