Just going by what i read in the paper today mate.

The 'Cult of SOS' need to move with their silly and petty grudge against Liddle.

Not one person or individual is bigger than the club, and i loved and revered SOS as a player, but I am getting a bit sick of those who think Silvagni was above reproach as recruiting manager, and that he is blameless in his falling out with the club.

It's getting a bit like #standbyhird if I am getting brutally honest.

Oh, and can I add, kicking to a 1 on 2, or not kicking to the benefit of our player (ie, kicking it short of a contest when our man is goal side/over the back) - dumb!

Actually it not so much players are dumb - it's that there is no repetitive structure so the game becomes instinctive(very few can play purely on instinct ) -- that's why we'll drilled sides can bring players in play a role -- in situation x you do y-- in situation a you do b -- that is why they break the ground done to lines and stoppages -- the line coaches instruct there line to fit into the over all plan of the head coach by drilling the game scenario into there players that will work 85% of the time in given scenario --- the head coach pulls it all together and ask line coaches to tweak this and that and keeps everyone happy and striving to a common goal ---- then before the match stands on his soapbox and says " let's do this one for the gipper"..

after said match he has to come up with a pile of garbage that sounds convincing of what happened during the game you have sat there and watched -

basically saying players are dumb is dumb

Just heard from a trustworthy but 2nd hand source that spoke to Murph, reckons Lyon is a lock to be coaching us next year. Do I trust them? Yes. Do they normally claim to have any inside info? No.

No need think to hard Sam we at big footy work this out already - same as all the answers to the review we giv in May before review started -- Lyon has had 4 months to get a plan together onward and upward .. we will pay the tax with a smile .. most of big footy had us between 7-12 as we were still 2 years off -- now we can set up the front yard and driveway as the house is ready ..

I don't regret supporting Teague, a good clubman who tried his guts out to make us a successful team on field.

He played for North and came over with Pagan and Martin!! Best you support the next Tasmanian side because it's just as relevant.

But the club did a fantastic job selling that 66 game rebuild rubbish -- that's for established sides with good core and even spilt of demographic like the swans footsctay even essendon (take talia for chips dodo laughing )... Our best player at the time was 21 and he had no friends how long you think it would take .. for this MLG has done a great job to sell this crap to keep club relevant and members as involved is a master stroke kudos to him ... this has been no let's get a sugar hit this has been 5 years hard work ..

Edmund seems to have a decent source within the Club, usually on the ball with player movements, contracts, etc. - so could see it being correct.

GWS 2012 list suggests SOS gets more than his fare share right and can build a list to go deep in finals.

Perhaps if Carlton had got Mark Williams to develop our kids we’d be in a much better position?
